This rectangular light uses two white LEDs under an amber lens to deliver bright, even illumination while drawing only 0.04 amps at 12V. LEDs last up to 50 times longer than traditional bulbs, so there’s no filament to break or bulb to change. The design runs on 9V–16V DC systems and stays energy-efficient while improving visibility and safety.
The Piranha series features a surface-mounted diode (SMD) circuit board that resists shock and vibration better than fragile bulb housings. This helps the light maintain steady performance over rough roads while also improving heat distribution. The thinner, sealed construction gives it a clean, modern look that holds up over time.
You can mount it using the built-in center stud or with two #12 screws for a surface-mount setup. The two-wire design—power lead and ground wire—keeps installation straightforward whether you’re replacing an existing light or adding a new one. At 3-1/8" long, 2" tall, and 15/16" deep, it fits neatly wherever you need a clearance or side marker light.
The integrated reflex reflector means you don’t need to add a separate reflective piece to meet visibility requirements. It keeps the trailer visible even when the LEDs are off, which makes it both a lighting and safety upgrade in one compact unit.
This light meets DOT requirements and is P2 rated for a 90-degree total beam spread—45 degrees to each side of centerline. That makes it ideal as either a clearance light or side marker light when properly mounted. It’s a dependable, low-draw LED option that does its job every time you hit the road.
