This Peterson teardrop light gives your trailer a clean, classic look while keeping it visible at night. The 5-3/8" long x 1-13/16" tall design uses an amber lens over a bright incandescent bulb to serve as either a clearance or side marker light. The built-in reflex reflector means you don’t need an extra reflector plate. It’s P2 rated for proper light spread and is fully DOT compliant, so you get both function and peace of mind in one unit.
Wet conditions are no problem here. The housing and lens are sonically sealed together to create a single waterproof piece that’s submersible. That keeps water out and protects the bulb and wiring even when the trailer is exposed to rain or water spray. It’s a dependable pick for anyone who wants lighting that holds up through tough weather or washdowns without fogging or shorting out.
Installing this light is straightforward thanks to its single-wire design that grounds through the mounting flange. You just connect the +12V lead and secure the housing with two #6-18 x 3/4" screws (included). Because it uses the metal flange for ground, a bare metal contact point ensures a solid connection every time. The surface-mount style lays flat against the trailer body and only requires a small hole for the wire pass-through.
The wedge-style teardrop shape makes this light ideal where space is limited or when you want something that blends in instead of sticking out. At only 1-1/2" thick, it sits close to the surface and adds visibility without snagging on anything. The 3-1/8" mounting hole spacing makes it easy to replace older lights without modifying your trailer’s setup.

Great replacement for my boat trailer
These wedge-shaped marker lights are nearly impossible to find, though they were widely available just a couple of years ago. etrailer.com has them in stock for a reasonable price - lucky for me since I have two of them on my boat trailer and haven't found a decent substitute. I did need to drill a new hole in my trailer since the screw mounting pattern is smaller on these lights than the original lights, but that was easy. Overall very satisfied - prompt delivery of quality lights at a reasonable price - can't get much better than that.
Ordering process easy. Searched all of Tulsa area and was told by trailer companies that the lights I needed on my 15 year old boat trailer were no longer available and that I would need different lights. AND...drill new holes to fit new lights in my restored trailer, which I did not want to do! So, I found etrailer in search engine, found the amber lights quickly, and ordered same day. Received the 2 trailer lights in good packing order and within expected time of less than 1 week. Will order any needed future lights from etrailer.com!

Fit my 2010 Stratus boat trailer perfectly. Just ordered a second one for the other side.
The 1st light didnt work, thank goodness I ordered 2 and the 2nd 1 did. Not worth the $13.21 I paid to send back. I ordered close to $300 and this was my only mishap. Everything else was shipped faster then that other online retaler, made in USA (I'm a disabled vet & only buy American) and looks and fits perfect. Hopefully someone at etrailer will read this and make up the $13.21 but if not I'll survive.
The light was easy to adapt to my boat trailer. It works great as a side marker light.
I bought 2 for my boat trailer and one has stopped working already . Plus the same basic light same brand did not have same hole pattern had to drill to make light fit .
Just recently bought a great used boat but the front drivers wedge light was broken. Found this on etrailer and ordered, it was delivered quickly and worked perfectly. Thanks!

Price was okay not an issue
I was hoping it had a center stud bolt to mount like my original one, but can't find one. I just drilled two holes and made it work.
Light were a direct replacement for my EZ Loader trailer. Came with screws and fit without additional drilling required.

Product trailer marker lights are working great
I purchased 2 Peterson wedge style clearance lights for my boat trailer to replace the original lights.
I ordered online and they arrived within a week.
The installation was quick and easy!
This is the 2nd order Ive placed with etrailer but it wont be my last. Very happy with the products and fast delivery!

This is an EXTREMELY difficult light to find. I called by boat trailer manufacturer (EZ Loader) and they said that Wesbar made these wedge lights since the early 1990s and 2 years ago they had stopped making them? This light is a PERFECT replacement to that Wesbar wedge light that has been discontinued. E Trailer is an AWESOME company. This is my 5th order and I cant say enough good things about this company. Extremely helpful folks - fast shipping and superior products. REALLY pleased.
