Are 4" Oval Peterson and Optronics Clearance Lights the Same Dimensions

Question:

Are these 2 marker lights the exact same shape? The pictures look to be different. Code 423000 Code MC38AB

They are not the exact same shape but they basically have the same dimensions with the differences being within 1/16" of each other (which could be the difference between manufacturer's preference for measurements).

For the amber version of the Peterson Light # 423000 you need part # 422800 and for the red version of the Optronics Light # MC38AB you need part # MC38RB. Either way thought these lights are interchangeable with each other.
