Are All LED's of the Optronics Stop, Turn and Taillight # STL79RB The Same Brightness

Question:
Wondering why the middle 3 LEDs are more dim, compared to the outside LEDs? It was mentioned in the video, but no reason was given.

According to my Optronics representative, the # STL79RB is purposely designed so that the middle three diodes which illuminate the running light function are a bit more dim. The outer diodes are brighter, and the lens tends to magnify the diodes making them appear much brighter.
