This 10-1/8" x 3-1/16" oval Fusion LED tail light does it all—stop, tail, turn, and backup—in one clean package. With its built-in backup light, you don’t need to cut extra holes or mount a second fixture. The red lens sits inside a clear lens housing, combining red LEDs for your main signals and white LEDs for reverse. It’s DOT compliant and uses just 0.35 amps for stop/turn, 0.05 amps for tail, and 0.3 amps for backup at 12.8V, giving you bright performance with minimal power draw.
If your trailer faces rain, road spray, or even full submersion, this light is built for it. The polycarbonate lens and housing are sonically sealed into a single waterproof unit that protects the diodes and circuit board from moisture damage. Whether it’s dunked at the ramp or splashed on back roads, the sealed design keeps everything dry and reliable.
This light uses surface-mount technology (SMT) on its LED circuit board to withstand vibration and shock better than standard through-hole designs. The improved heat distribution helps extend diode life, meaning no fragile filaments to burn out and no bulbs to replace. The 14 LEDs are rated to last up to 50 times longer than incandescent lights while staying brighter and more efficient the whole way.
Installation is straightforward thanks to the built-in flange that mounts flat on your trailer surface—no extra brackets required. The 5-wire pigtail makes connections clear: white wires for ground, brown for backup, red for brake, yellow for turn, and black for tail. Mounting holes are spaced 9-11/16" horizontally and 2-5/8" vertically on center, so setup stays quick and tidy without any guesswork.
You can use this light as-is or pair it with the snap-on stainless steel trim ring (A68SSB, sold separately) for a finished look that matches other hardware. It’s an easy way to give the light a touch of style while keeping the same rugged build underneath.

Today we're going to be taking a look at the Optronics trailer tail light with backup light, part number STL68RB. Here in the back of our trailer you can see we're going to be upgrading our lights to a bigger light with the backup light. It features 14 LEDs in a red and clear lens, and because it's LEDs its going to be more efficient, there are not bulbs to replace, and it's going to last a long time. It's a 10 and 1/8 inch light that serves four functions. You have your brake lights, your turn signals, and your tail lights. You've also got reverse lights. It's a DOT-compliant light with a sonically sealed watertight housing.
It's a flange mount light, and you will need to provide your own hardware. It comes in a quantity of one, so if you're looking to replace both tail lights, you want to be sure to pick up a second one. Now, I'll go ahead and show you how to get this installed. First let's remove our old tail light. We'll want to be sure and set our hardware aside, because we're going to be reusing it. Now that the wire's revealed you can see we're already set up for our reverse light, we just weren't taking advantage of it.
Let's go ahead and snip our wires. That's always good to be careful not to let them fall back inside. Now our new light's wires come pre-stripped, so let's go ahead and strip our old wires. Now when stripping them, you only want to do about a quarter inch to reveal the wire. Perfect. Now let's go ahead and connect our wires.
To do so we're going to use some butt connectors. The ones we're using today are part number DW05714. We're just going to slide one on. We want to make sure you kind of clean the wire up a little bit. We'll just slide it on, that way there is no exposed wire, and we're going to crimp it down.
Now we'll just repeat that same process for the other three wires. There we go. Now let's grab our new Optronics LED light. In this instance we're able to connect color for color when connecting our light, but it's not a bad idea to check which wire performs which function when disconnecting your old light. So let's go ahead and do white with white, and so on and so forth. The white's going to be our ground, the red's going to be our tail light, the black's going to be our brake light and turn signal, and finally the brown is just going to be our reverse light. Great. Now that they're all connected, let's test it out. Let's first test our brake light. Then our turn signal. Then our tail lights. And now let's do our reverse. With everything functioning as it should, let's go ahead and run our old hardware back, and then we've got it. That's going to complete our look at the Optronics trailer tail light with backup light, part number STL68RB.

I would not want to receive lights that were scuffed either. Would you able to send pictures of the lights?
GREAT PRODUCT FAST DELIVERY
Exactly what was needed to replace the OEM non-led lights
I was looking for this light and could not get it anywhere, i googled the part number and stumbled upon etrailer. Usually I don't really trust websites I don't know but I could not find the part anywhere so this was my only choice. So I ordered this part from Missouri when I'm from Québec, and package arrived no issues.
Complete garbage. ordered a pair, neither work correctly. 1 tail is bright like brake light, other no tail period. test before installing.

Nine times out of ten when it comes to wiring, there is a simple solution. I am wondering if you have checked the ground connection - you will want to make sure it is a clean, direct metal to metal, secure connection. Also, do all the diodes light up on the dimmer light?
Right Fit Excellent Quality, Arrived on time, Good Customer Service
