This single-diode LED light handles brake, tail, and turn signals without breaking a sweat. At 12.8 volts it draws only 0.26 amps for stop and a minimal 0.011 amps for turn. That means high visibility with almost no strain on your electrical system. Water damage kills most trailer lights fast, but this one is made to take it. The polycarbonate lens and housing are sealed tight for waterproof performance, keeping moisture out even when fully submerged. It’s a great fit for any setup that sees wet roads or boat ramps, staying clear and reliable no matter how often it gets dunked.
Keeping connections dry can be a challenge, especially in harsh weather or wet launches. This light uses a weathertight plug that seals out moisture and protects your wiring from corrosion. It connects using the AL45PWTB adapter (sold separately) to work with standard 3-prong plugs, giving you a clean, durable link that stays secure trip after trip.
For a neat finish, this 6-1/2" long by 2-5/16" tall light mounts flush inside a grommet (A70GB – sold separately). If you’d rather not cut into your trailer, you can use an optional mounting bracket (BK70BB – sold separately) along with the same grommet. Either way you get a snug fit that looks sharp and keeps the light protected from bumps and snags.

Today we're going to be taking a look at Part # STL002RNB. This is the Optronics 1-series trailer light. The oval trailer light is going to serve three functions. It's going to provide your stop light, your tail light, and your turn signal light. This is sonically sealed when it comes to housing the lens, so it it a submersible trailer light. The 1-series is going to provide bright light using fewer diodes when compared to other LED lights.
It's only going to to contain one single diode. It's going to use durable surface inaudible 00:00:31 technology when it comes to the construction of the LED circuit board. That's going to better withstand shock and vibration, and it's going to allow for improved heat distribution. LED's are going to make great replacements for incandescent lights. They're going to last a lot longer. They're going to be much more efficient, and you don't have to worry about replacing the bulbs, and you don't have to worry about brittle filaments.
We're going to have a polycarbonate red lens, very strong and durable, as well as a polycarbonate white housing. This is designed to be a recessed-mount installation with a mounted grommet and hardware, both sold separately. You can find those here on our website. The light can be mounted in any 360 degree position. Here on the back side, we're going to have the weather-tight connection point. This does require an adapter, Part # AL45PWTB, in order to work with an industry standard three-prong plug.
The adapter and the plug are both sold separately and you can find both of those here on our website. This is Department of Transportation compliant. We're going to take a look at the overall dimension real quick, starting with the overall length. That's going to give us a measurement of about 6 1/2 inches long. If we measure the width from outer edge to outer edge, we're looking at about 2 and 5/16 of an inch.
Then if we take a look at the depth, first measurements going to be including the plug here at the back, so from the very back to the very front we're looking at about 2 inches. If we just measure the thickness of that housing . I'm actually going to measure here in the middle. From the back of the housing to the outer most point of the light we're looking at about 1 and 1/8 of an inch deep. The power drill at 12.8 volts for the stop light is 0.26 amps, and for the turn signal light is 0.011 amps. Optronics is going to put a lifetime warranty on the LED as well. Let's go ahead hook it up to our external power source that way you can see what it looks like with power running to it. Here's that adapter that you'll need in order to work with a three-prong plug. Goes into the back portion here. Push it in until the clip snaps in place. It's going to create a nice tight connection point. Now, this is going to be the tail light function. Sends out a consistent signal. Then when we apply our breaks you can see how that illuminates for a longer signal output. It's also going to do that same thing when we activate out turn signals. That's going to do it for today's look at Part # STL002RNB.

Bought to replace existing weathered lights in a heavy trailer. Looked the same as depicted but my frame around lens was metal ,not plastic like the ones I received. I will use them, exact fit, but I doubt they will take the abuse the original did over the years

Used these lights to upgrade to LED on my triple Axel equipment trailer. Lights are nice and bright. Would have given 5 stars except that since I have ordered these lights I have been bombarded with trailer light advertisements that just won't quit.
I replaced the burned out light on the horse trailer. Very easy to install....Pull the old light out of the rubber casing, unplug, and reverse directions for installation....No Tools Needed!!!

Lights worked perfect for my flatbed light upgrade,great price and this company has a nice easy to use website, i only wish they came with a gasket to go between the light and the mounting surface , but with that being said not all builds need to be water tight so i still guve it five stars
Doesn’t come with wiring harness, I was able to find a wiring harness plug that worked on Amazon that was much cheaper than what was quoted from a trailer.
It worked for my burnt out light.I had to adjust some parts of the plug in but fit was perfect and changing to led lights are much brighter.
