Features to know about

Brighter Light, Lower Power Draw: Efficient 4-Diode LED Design

This thinline light uses four amber LEDs that shine brighter than old bulbs while pulling just 0.051 amps at 12.8V. It’s built to replace incandescent clearance or side marker lights with a cleaner, more efficient setup that you don’t have to worry about burning out. The LEDs last about 50 times longer than traditional bulbs, and since there are no filaments or glass to break, it stays dependable through vibration and weather.

Built for the Elements: Sonically Sealed and Submersible

Water intrusion can ruin a trailer light fast, but this one’s sealed up tight. The housing and lens are sonically fused into a single waterproof unit, so it’s completely submersible and safe to use even on boat trailers. That seal keeps the diodes and circuit board protected from moisture and corrosion, so the light keeps working season after season without fogging or shorting out.

Slim Fit for Tight Spaces: Thinline Series Profile

When space is limited, the low-profile Thinline Series design fits where bulkier lights can’t. Measuring 4-1/16" long by 1-1/4" wide and only 1-1/8" thick, it mounts cleanly on flat surfaces with a separate bracket (A65B, sold separately). The rectangular shape gives it a modern look, while still meeting DOT P2 standards for use as a clearance or side marker light.

Clear Coverage Where You Need It: P2-Rated Beam Pattern

This light’s P2 rating means it projects a 90-degree total beam—45 degrees to either side of center—for strong visibility straight on and from an angle. It’s designed to serve as either a clearance or side marker light depending on how you mount it. Paired correctly, it helps keep your trailer visible at night or in low-light conditions for added safety on the road.

Easy Plug-In Connection: Standard 1- or 2-Prong Setup

Wiring is simple thanks to the industry-standard plug connection. It accepts either a single-wire setup that grounds through the bracket or a two-wire plug if you prefer a separate ground. That flexibility makes it easy to tie into your existing trailer wiring without cutting or splicing—just plug it in and go.

Works as advertised. Puts out a lot of light!

by:

THE LIGHTS ARE VERY BRIGHT AND EASY TO INSTALL, I'M VERY HAPPY WITH MY ORDER. MY THIRD TIME ORDERING FROM YOU IN THE LAST MONTH. EVERYTHING HAS BEEN BETTER THAN EXPECTED.

by:

While etrailer's products have been good so far (I have ordered several items lately), what really pleases is their quick and pleasant service. Always easy to deal with, and that makes a difference.

by:

Fast shipping on this order. The lights are a lot brighter than I expected, which is great. Thank you very much. Will do business again.

by:

I replaced all oem lights on my boat trailer with LED's, easy to install and still burning bright today.

by:

Love these lights ! When I leave thr racetrack on Saturday nights everyone stops and stares at my trailer . Better get you some !

by:

My son just started to do metal fabrication. First project is a utility trailer. I'm letting him do the project with very little help on my part. Althought I want him to get the the best product for the bests price and not get ripped off. We found that with your company. The customer service was excellent.

by:

Nice upgrade from the non LED lights on my horse trailer. Love it!

by:

bright, night and day difference between original trailer lights and the LED's!!

by:

Have been great in the weather, dont forget the mounting brackets #A65B

by:

Easy installation and great lighting. Only thing is I wish it was more or a flood light rather than a spot light. But that's just my opinion I also like that moisture doesn't affect them of get in at all.

by:

the lights are very nice (bright) but the bracket housing that they fit in (plastic based) are really not a very good quality. The snaps on each end that holds the light are not all molded the same and I had one defective one that would not allow the light to snap in therefore the first bump i hit the light itself flew out going down the road and was lost. can't afford to keep replacing lights that simply fall out.

by:

I can say enough about item,it was easy to install and it made my enclosed car trailer look outstanding. I would highly recommend these replacement lights to anyone who would like to upgrade the look of their trailer.

by:

Work great!

by:

Very pleased with the thin Miro- flex side markers. I put them on my 2001 dodge dually and man are they bright. I only wish they offered them in 2 1/2 too. But over all they are well worth buying if your looking for good looking lights on or off.

by:

Finished ProductThe 6 Amber LED's with clear lenses
are now on my pickup. The 20 amber and red clears will outfit my trailer. I
have attached a pic of the rear of my homesteader ez rider (which mainly
hauls my atv)

by:

Here is a picture of these in use on the front of my truck, its an unorthodox mounting place and its supposed to be used on a trailer but I really love these things and I have installed them onto another guys truck as well

See what our Experts say about this Optronics Trailer Lights

  • Red and Amber Trailer Clearance Lights with Clear Lenses
You are correct, clear lenses are not made for lights # MC32AB or # MC32RB. The bulbs for both of these lights produce white light so if clear lenses were on them the light would just be white. Unless you found colored bulbs that would fit. We do have red and amber marker/clearance lights with clear lenses though. For example we have # MCL63CAB which is an amber LED light with a clear lens. Other amber options include # MCL13CA2B, # MCL51CAK, # MCL65CAB, # AL91CAB, # MCL17CAB, # 00212336P,...

  • Mounting Base and Wiring Harness for Optronics Clearance Light # MCL63CAB
There are different bases you can use for clearance light # MCL63CAB. You can use base # A65B that you have referenced. For that particular base you would use wiring harness # A68P. We also have base # A65PB or # A66PB. With these you would use wiring harness # A65P with the single wire because the light will ground through the mounting studs of these bases.

  • How is Sealed, Miro-Flex, Thin Line, LED Trailer Marker/Clearance/ID Light, # 12855, Wired
Sealed, Miro-Flex, Thin Line, LED Trailer Marker/Clearance/ID Light, # 12855, requires a bracket to mount the light. The light itself can plug into the bracket and ground through the mounting hardware. One possible bracket is the Chrome Bracket and Single Wire Plug for Thin Line Trailer Clearance and Side Marker Lights, # A67CB. If you are unable to ground the light through mounting hardware, you can use Two Wire Plug for Thin Line Series Trailer Clearance and Side Marker Lights, # A68P....

  • Availability of a Clear LED Trailer Clearance Side Market Light
The closest match we have to the mini rectangular LED trailer clearance trailer side marker light # MCL95AB is the Optronics sealed, LED mini utility light # UCL13C2PG. It's 2-1/2 inches long and 1-1/16 inches wide. Other potential options to consider: # MCL13CA2B # MCL63CAB # MCL65CAB # AL91CAB I included an informative article and several video reviews too.

  • Trailer Amber Clearance Light with a Clear Lens
Replacement lenses are not available for the MC71 series of trailer lights. The remaining option is to replace the whole light. For something that has a clear lens with amber lights you will need to use an LED light such as: # MCL63CAB # MCL13CA2B # MCL65CAB # AL91CAB

  • Best RV or Trailer LED Amber Porch Light
There isn't an amber version of light # ILL70CCSBAWN but we have lights that are similar such as # MCL63CAB. Considering what you are using the light for I actually recommend RV Porch/Utility Light # 328-007-30SAPE. This is an amber LED light designed as a porch light and it features an on/off switch on the light itself. I have linked a video review of this light for you.

  • Small Rectangle Trailer Light that Can do Stop/Turn/Tail
The closest light we offer in the dimensions you seek that can do stop/tail/turn is the part # ST31RB which is 4-1/2 inches by 2-1/2 inches. It grounds through the mounting hardware, that is why it only has 2 wires.

  • Recommended Trailer LED Taillights for a 1961 Airstream Camper
The fact that your trailer uses single wire assemblies for the running lights indicates that the assemblies are intended to ground through the mounting hardware. Which is interesting since the trailer is aluminum. For red surface mounted LED clearance lights the part # MCL63CRB that you referenced would work well, for the amber version part # MCL63CAB. For an install plug you would want part # A68P and then for a bracket part # A65B.

  • Chrome Mounting Bracket Recommendation for a Miro-Flex, Thin Line, LED Light MCL63CAB
Yes, the # A67CB mounting bracket that you referenced will fit and work well with the # MCL63CAB that you referenced. This is a chrome bracket that grounds through the mounting hardware. The single wire that runs to it is the power wire.

  • Chrome, Two-Wire Mounting Bracket for the Optronics Clearance Light MCL63CAB
Sounds like you are wanting to use the part # A67CB with the clearance light part # MCL63CAB. There's no reason you couldn't, this bracket is designed for trailers that ground through the mounting hardware though. If that wouldn't work on your trailer you would just need to run a wire from the mounting screw that runs through the ground strap and the light would work just fine.
