Optronics MCL63 Series Miro-Flex Thinline Red LED Clearance Marker Light Dimensions

Sonically Sealed, Waterproof Trailer Light

The waterproof construction of this light makes it ideal for use on trailers that may be submerged, like a boat trailer. The housing and lens are sonically sealed together to create a single unit, which means that water will not get into the light and damage the diodes or circuit board.

P2-Rated Lights

Diagram of light spread for P2 rated light

A P2-rated light produces a 45-degree angle of light to either side of its centerline for a total of 90 degrees of coverage. This beam pattern can be seen straight on, but it cannot be seen clearly from the side. So this type of light can be used as either a side marker light or a clearance light, but it cannot function as both. If you need both functions, then you must install 2 separate lights on your trailer - one as a front or rear clearance light and one as a side marker light.

  • LED Trailer Tail Light Recommendations for a Boat Trailer
The Sealed, Miro-Flex, Thin Line, LED Lights, # MCL63CRB, are DOT approved as Trailer Marker, Clearance or ID Lights only, so you would not be able to use them as tail lights. A similar light in shape and size that would work for you is the Miro-Flex, Waterproof, Rectangular, LED Trailer Light, # STL33RB. You would also need a wiring harness like # A45PB, and a grommet, # A33GB. Or, if a rounded light is acceptable, you can go with # STL70RB, with wiring # A45PB and Grommet # a70gb.

  • Recommended Trailer LED Taillights for a 1961 Airstream Camper
The fact that your trailer uses single wire assemblies for the running lights indicates that the assemblies are intended to ground through the mounting hardware. Which is interesting since the trailer is aluminum. For red surface mounted LED clearance lights the part # MCL63CRB that you referenced would work well, for the amber version part # MCL63CAB. For an install plug you would want part # A68P and then for a bracket part # A65B.

  • Red and Amber Trailer Clearance Lights with Clear Lenses
You are correct, clear lenses are not made for lights # MC32AB or # MC32RB. The bulbs for both of these lights produce white light so if clear lenses were on them the light would just be white. Unless you found colored bulbs that would fit. We do have red and amber marker/clearance lights with clear lenses though. For example we have # MCL63CAB which is an amber LED light with a clear lens. Other amber options include # MCL13CA2B, # MCL51CAK, # MCL65CAB, # AL91CAB, # MCL17CAB, # 00212336P,...

  • Replacing Side Marker Brackets And Bulbs On 2010 Pace Journey Trailer
The Chrome Bracket and Single Wire Plug # A67CB has just enough room to route the wire that it comes with. Based on the photo you attached, it looks like the hole that is already drilled is in the exact spot for the wire on the new bracket to fit into (see attached photo). You may need to cut some of the wire off or push the wire back through the hole after making your connection so that the bracket does not have to fit over a lot of crinkled wires, which obviously wouldn't allow for proper...

  • Mounting Bracket Recommendation for a Optronics Thin Line Clearance Light
There are three available brackets that will work with the Optronics Thin Line Series Clearance Light # MCL63CRB. There is a black one part # A65PB, a gray one part # A66PB and a chrome one part # A67CB. Check out the review video I attached for the # MCL63CRB.
