Question:
Hi guys, I have an old 1961 Airstream trailer that Im showing some love to. The marker / license plate lights are single wire and I would like to replace them with LED lights that can be surface mounted. I also need tail / stop / turn lights and a license plate light and bracket. Guess Im looking for all of em. Im kind of in a time crunch in that I have a month to finish this thing. If anyone ever asks you to polish an aluminum trailer.... RUN

The fact that your trailer uses single wire assemblies for the running lights indicates that the assemblies are intended to ground through the mounting hardware. Which is interesting since the trailer is aluminum.
For red surface mounted LED clearance lights the part # MCL63CRB that you referenced would work well, for the amber version part # MCL63CAB. For an install plug you would want part # A68P and then for a bracket part # A65B.
