Rain, road spray, or boat ramp launches aren’t a problem for this identification light bar. The sealed, waterproof housing keeps moisture out and protects the internal components from corrosion or shorting. Each of the three red incandescent lights sits inside a durable polycarbonate lens, so even when the trailer is submerged or hit with road grime, the lights stay bright and consistent.
You don’t need to fight with short wiring or complicated connections. The 2-wire pigtail includes a 50" lead wire and ground wire, giving you plenty of room to make clean, secure connections wherever you mount it. The surface-mount base installs easily using standard hardware (not included), with 7-1/2" between the mounting holes for an even, stable fit along the back of your trailer.
This bar carries three A91RB incandescent lights that are simple to replace when needed. The red lens spreads light evenly across the rear for reliable identification visibility at night or in low-light conditions. Since it’s built for 12V DC systems and draws just 1.0 amps at 12.8 volts, it keeps power demand low while giving clear rear lighting that meets safety requirements.
The tough polycarbonate housing and lens resist impact and wear, making this bar a dependable choice for everyday use on trucks and trailers. With its P2 rating, it provides a 90-degree total beam spread (45 degrees to either side), ideal for rear identification lighting where focused coverage is needed. You get rugged construction that holds up in harsh environments without sacrificing performance.

Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this Optronics 16 inch long incandescent identification light bar for trucks and trailers, and it has the red lenses. Now, this is an identification light bar for your truck or your trailer, and trailers that are measuring 80 inches or wider will require identification lights for additional visibility. Basically, you'll mount this clearance light bar on the top of your truck or trailer or between the taillights to draw extra visibility to the wider trailer for added on road safety. The lights are P2 rated lights. They produce a 90 degree beam pattern.
And this light bar is DOT compliant, which is Department of Transportation. If you notice, it has the three rectangular incandescent lights that have the red lens on it. And what's nice about those lights is they are easily replaceable. They're attached to the base. If one happened to burn out and you need to replace it, you just pull these tabs on each side and it'll pop right out and then you can pop the other one into place.
We do sell these lights separately. They're part number A91RB. Now, this is a durable, sealed, and waterproofed polycarbonate housing and lens. It is compatible with 12 volt DC systems. It is designed to surface mount to your trailer.
Now, the hardwood install is not included. There's two holes here that you put your screws in, but again, you would have to supply that. It is a two-wire pigtail design. It includes a 50 inch long power wire and then a short white ground wire. Now, I do have this hooked up to some 12 volt power.
Just to show you, we're gonna turn these on, show you how bright the lights are. So I'll go ahead and flip on the power. You can see the incandescent lights come on. To give you an idea, we'll turn off the overhead lights and you can see how the lights light up. Go ahead and turn back on our overhead lights. Go ahead and turn off our power. We're gonna disconnect it. I'm gonna give you some dimensions on this. The overall length from one end to the other, we put our tape measure on it, it's gonna be right at 16 inches long. The width of it is gonna be right at 1-1/2 inches wide. And the depth, in other words from the front, let's go down here from the front of the light to the very back is gonna be right about 1-5/8 inches deep. Now, the distance between these mounting holes center to center is about 7-1/2 inches. And the power draw on this light at 12.8 volts is about one amp. But that should do it for the review on this Optronics 16 inch long incandescent identification light bar for trucks and trailers and these have the red lenses.

Replaced the original light bar with this one and was able to reuse the existing wire harness rather than splice in the one that came with the replacement. Only had to drill two holes (into aluminum - no big deal) since the old holes didn't match up.

Still works nice and bright. No complaints.
Item exactly as ordered, received promptly, sealed for boat trailer, almost identical to original equipment, pre-wired and easily installed. Local retailers unable to provide same length of unit at competitive cost.
Also ordered and received a PVC grommet for my 6 1/2" oval 3 way stop-turn and running light.
Item is great I found at a truck acc. Shop and it was the exact item for triple the price no kidding triple iam very pleased with the light and fits and works great . Thank you and I will shop with you again. Randy.

Decent product for the price. Cheap plastic but it works as designed. Installed easily. Be sure not to pinch/scrape the wires when installing the mounting screws.

Work as designed and seem to be durable. They still work, have not faded and have been great for the price.
Had to replace the entire clearance light bar because the light clips broke off on the center light. This was an easy replacement and am hopeful that these clips won't break ;o)

Still holding up even in the harsh Colorado weather. Highly recommend.
Came fast and is larger than the LED strip I am replacing. I can now use LED bulbs in this also.
So far so good with this product. No different than the factory version on my
Stratos Trail trailer. Only wish the material was more durable. Not all boat ramps have the save degree. I recommend being careful because the product is plastic.

Product remains secure on trailer and working properly up to expectations.
Item was perfect but could have used mounting screws. Survived first launch with no issues so seems to be water tolerant.
This light fit and worked perfectly. Has been submerged repeatedly as it is on a boat trailer and I have had no problems.
Easy to install and hook up without removing my old lights or installing new wire. Just what toe old truck needed.
Easy installation; works great. Not heavy duty unit but fits my needs perfectly.
One year after installation still works well!

The triple light has survived the long cold and deep snow here in NW New Jersey.The trailer was parked outside.Still looks good.
