Jeff: Hello everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a look at this LED dual trailer stop, turn, tail and backup tail light with the red and the clear lens. This is a rectangular LED trailer light, which will work as a stop, turn, tail and reverse light on your trailer. You can see it's a very nice thin rectangular design, which is very lightweight. And it does use LEDs, which make great replacements for incandescent lights.
LEDs will last 50 times longer. They are more efficient because they provide better light with less power output. And of course, no bulbs to replace or brittle filaments to break.This does use a nice red and clear lens. Has 20 white LEDs, 10 on this light and 10 over here. Now, at the end of this video, I'm going to hook this up to some 12 volt power just to show you how the lights, how bright they are, and how they operate.This light is compatible with 12 volt DC systems.
It is designed to mount on the surface of the trailer. Now, the hardware is installed this is not included, but it does include this foam mounting gasket that you'll use when you install it. It is a four wire design, has a black wire for the tail light, white for the ground, red for the stop and turn, and then the purple for the reverse function. The length on the wire leads are about seven inches. The slide is DOT, Department of Transportation compliant.
Give you some dimensions on this and then we'll hook it up.So the overall width on the slide from one end to the other is right at nine and 5/8 inches long. Height of it is right at seven inches tall. And the depth on it is only about 5/8 of an inch deep.So we're going to do now is I'm going to hook these wires up. So get our white wire for the ground, our black wire for the tail lights, and our red for the stop and turn. And then the purple I'll be attaching that to the power, just to show you the reverse section.So we'll go ahead and turn on the 12 volt power.
And there you can see the tail lights come on. I'm going to go ahead and turn off the overhead lights. There's your tail lights. And then when you hit your brakes, you can see your brakes, how they'll light up brighter. And then if you operate your turn signals, you can see there's your turn signal. And then again, if we do the reverse, there's your reverse. See the reverse is very bright white light. So it lets everybody know that you're backing up.We'll go ahead and turn back on our overhead lights. And we'll turn off our power. But that should do it for the review on this LED dual trailer stop, turn, tail and backup tail light with the red and the clear lens.

Great replacement unit which is actually better than the original which was a Bargman double unit with a backup light. The Bargman was flush mount which they don't make now. Their replacement is a recessed mounting and I didn't want to start chopping holes in the camper. This unit fit the bill. Shipping was fast.
Has the exact size and screw-hole spacing as the old lights on my 2002 Sunnybrook trailer, and the LED's are much brighter than the 3157 bulbs. I'll be ordering another soon!
I was pleasantly surprised to find an exact match for our malfunctioning tail light. Better yet was the customer service from etrailer.com. I placed the order early Wednesday afternoon, selecting ground transportation. An email arrived two hours later that the item had shipped and was being upgraded to 3-5 day shipping. In fact, I received it two days later. Their web site which shows you every step in the process is amazing. I will be using etrailer for all possible future purchases.

Much better then the old tail light
Installed on a 1996 32 ft. Winnebago. They are very bright and look good. Back up lights provide good light for parking at night. My rv came with cheap incandescent tail lights. These new lights cover up the footprint of the old lights and work and look great. Easy to hook up. Mark wires from old lights before you disconnect them. Makes install much easier. Only 4 stars, because I just mounted them. We will see how they hold up over time. I'm concerned about water intrusion, although they do come with a mounting gasket. It rained hard last night so before I submitted my review I checked lights for moisture. YES. They both had moisture in them. Very frustrating. And yes they were mounted properly.

Excellent light for both clearance and turn signal usage. If you have a longer trailer and desire more lighting for turn signal usage this is the light to purchase. Very bright for both applications.
These lights were a great replacement for the malfunctioning lights on my 2004 Lexington motor home. It was an easy replacement also. The lights are bright and work great!
