by:

Absolutely outstanding in every way. Excellent product and ultra fast delivery. I highly recommend Etrailer.

by:

Well-made, high-quality jack. It is very strong and easy to use with the side-wind. It is not light weight junk like many jacks for much higher prices.

by:

The trailer jack was very promptly shipped with tracking information made available. The product was exactly as advertised and arrived within about 4 days of when I ordered it, and I chose to have it shipped at the lowest rate. Good product and great company follow up.

by:

The trailer jack assembly worked great. No problems fitting onto the trailer original mount. Previous jack had a top crank handle and mounted similar. This assembly mounted up very easily. Also the time for shipping was upgraded after ordering at no charge and received in awesome time. We will do business in the future.

by:

I am happy with this product, it was a replacement for an old jack on my trailer frame. The gear box works well and it's quite a bit easier to raise and lower my trailer frame. The only snag I hit was that this jack doesn't come with any nuts&bolts. I re-used my existing ones but, the hole in this jack for the bolt head is much larger, and I didn't feel comfortable so I had to get some washers from the local hardware store. I ended up replacing the nuts while I was at it. Overall happy with the product, would be ideal if it included nuts & bolts for installation as well.

by:

This is 100x better than the jack I had on my horse trailer before. My wife can even crank it up now without and problems and I can do it with one hand vs the two and back strain I had with my old top crank. It's very smooth and there is very little motion in the trailer while raising and lowering. Bolted right on to my 94' Valley 2 horse without any problems. Added the foot plate and now I don't need to use a 4x6 to keep the trailer from sinking into the ground.
Shipping was very quick (a lot faster than Amazon) and it was packed very well. Next month when it's time to do the brakes I'll be contacting these guys again!

by:

This side wind jack mounted on my Look cargo trailer in minutes. Now my tailgate has the clearance to open when I need items in the bed of my truck.

by:

Mounted on the bottom of the new trailer jack i bought from etrailer. Everything works as advertised. Fair price and great customer service

  • 2000-lb A-Frame Jack to Replace Atwood 80274
Based on my research the Atwood jack 80274 was an A-frame type side-wind tongue jack with a 2K weight rating. The Pro Series jack # PSRV20000103 that you referenced is a suitable replacement for this discontinued product. The Pro Series offers a 2K weight rating, 14-inches of lift and measures 13-inches from the mounting bracket to the top, excluding the handle. This jack does not come with a wheel or foot plate but you can use either wheel part # PS1400750340 which will reduce capacity...

  • Can I Convert My IronWorks Industries Square 7K Jack into a Drill Powered Jack?
Hello Jeffrey, I cannot recommend modifying your jack to go against how the manufacturer says to use their product. With that said I can't recommend that you use a socket adapter like the Ultra-Fab Speed Socket Power Drill Adapter for Scissor Jacks part # UF48-979005 because it is outside of the typical use of the jack defined by the manufacturer. If you were to cut the handle of the jack, thread it, screw on a nut that had a 3/4" or 19mm head on it and weld that on to the shaft of...

  • Recommended A-Frame Jack Caster Wheel for 1-5/8 Inch Outer Tube Jack
The Removable Wheel for Dutton-Lainson A-Frame Trailer Jack Model 6418 # DL22414 is a fit for a 1-3/4 inch outer diameter tube. This is going to be the closest wheel to the 1-5/8 inch outer diameter tubing on your inner diameter jack leg. I don't recommend mounting a caster to the bottom of a foot plate as that could cause more issues and would still not fit properly without customization. Your other option would be to customize a sleeve to allow the Ram Removable, 6" Poly Caster Assembly...

The Atwood jack 80274 was an A-frame type side-wind tongue jack with a 2K weight rating which we have several options for that would work great as a replacement. The Pro Series Round, A-Frame Jack w/ External Gearbox # PSRV20000103 that you referenced is a really great solution that would work well. • Recommended Sidewind A-frame Jack for Small Karavan Utility Trailer
I looked up your Karavan trailer online, and found it has a GVWR just shy of 3000 lbs. I'd recommend the Pro Series Sidewind A-frame jack, part # PSRV20000103. The jack has a 2000 lb capacity, which is plenty for your small trailer, as the jack won't need to pick up the entire weight of the trailer, just it's tongue weight. The additional capacity means that jack won't need to work very hard and should therefore last you a very long time. The jack doesn't include a foot plate, which...

I went out to my warehouse a pulled a few different jacks that I think will work for you. The Bulldog Round, A-Frame Jack, # BD1550101344, measures 14-1/2 inches from the bracket to the top of the jack, but you will lose an inch of lift with a 13 inch lift. You do, however, gain an increase in weight capacity at 3,000 lbs with this jack. Our best option may be the Pro Series Round, A-Frame Jack, # PSRV20000103. • A-Frame Jack Solution for Trailer with Small Diameter Lower Jack Hole
Your best option is going to be to take your trailer to a welder/fabricator and explain to them that you need to have either that lower plate removed or expanded so that you can fit a new trailer jack in it's place. The standard jack outer tube diameter is right at 2-1/4 inches. We don't carry a jack that would fit the lower hole of your trailer so modifying your trailer will be your only option. You can use a longer ball mount so that the trailer, and the jack, will be further away allowing you to lower the tail gate without hitting the jack. Then you could use any jack you wanted. The Pro Series Round, A-Frame Jack # PSRV20000103 will definitely definitely fit in frame as the 3" triangular bolt pattern is a standard, but I cannot 100% say that your existing wheel will fit. It most likely will, but I do have an option that I can 100% say will work. The etrailer.com Round A-Frame Trailer Jack # TJA-5000T-B is a RAM jack, though this will be a little more heavy duty than your original one. There are A-frame jacks with the right weight capacity for your 10,000 lb trailer, but there are none that are sidewind cranks that have 8 inches or less of clearance so you can open your tailgate. The closest is the Pro Series Round, A-Frame Jack # PSRV20000103 which is 13 inches from the mounting bracket to the top of the jack, and that's the least amount of any A-frame sidewind jack. The part 80265 that you referenced is very similar to the part 80274 that actually became part 273400 except it has a lower capacity at 1,000 lbs instead of 2,000 lbs. The 273400 has also been discontinued. If you are looking for a sidewind a-frame jack I recommend you go with part # PSRV20000103 as this is our most popular option with a ton of positive reviews.

  • Correct Trailer Tongue Jack Capacity for a Trailer with GVWR of 2980-lbs
When it comes to either trailer tires, hitches, winches or jacks, having extra capacity is a good idea. With jacks, using one rated for more weight than you're actually going to ask it to lift means it will have to work less hard to do its job. That tends to mean reduced wear and tear and can lead to a longer working lifespan for the jack. Since the cost difference between 1000-lb and 2000-lb jack is often quite small, it just makes sense to add safety margin whenever possible. For a...

  • Can the Handle on Pro Series A-Frame 2K Trailer Jack be Moved to the Opposite Side
You could just turn the jack to place the handle where you want it. The Pro Series jack # PSRV20000103 uses the standard triangle mounting pattern so just turn it so that one of the other corners is pointing forward. You cannot move the handle itself or rearrange the gear box inside to move the handle so rotation the entire jack would be the way to go.

Yes the Pro Series A-frame jack part # PSRV20000103 will work great as a replacement for the powered Atwood jack you have now on your trailer.
