Question:
Hi, We have a 1962 Aristocrat Travel Trailer and the original trailer jack was to low for our car and we lost the wheel on the freeway. So were thinking of replacing it with a new trailer jack. The outer diameter of the old one is 2.48 inches and from the top of the nose to the street is about 20 inches. Could you give us some advice on which one we should purchase? Thanks

For your replacement trailer jack, I recommend the Pro Series Round, A-Frame Jack w/ External Gearbox - Sidewind - 14" Lift - 2,000 lbs # PSRV20000103. I recommend using the Ram Removable, 6" Poly Caster Assembly for 2" Jack Tube # JC-101 with this to give you the wheel you are currently missing as well, but that won't give you much clearance for travel when it is installed, so I recommend removing it for towing. This is easy with the included pin and clip.
Another option is to change from an A-frame jack to a swivel jack to give you more clearance. For this I recommend the Fulton Bolt-Thru Swivel Marine Jack - Bolt On - Sidewind - 10" Lift - 1,500 lbs # FXP15. It comes ready to bolt on to your trailer frame and has the wheel.
