Features to know about

Keeps Your Camper Steady: Cross Brace Design That Reduces Movement

Rocking or swaying every time someone steps inside can make a trailer feel unstable. The MORryde Scissor Jack Cross Brace Stabilizer uses two expandable heavy-gauge steel tubes to form a box truss between your scissor jacks. Once installed, the braces extend and retract along with your jacks, tightening things up so your setup feels solid when parked.

Adjusts for Maximum Stability: Built-In Tension Handle for Easy Control

You don’t have to crawl under the trailer to fine-tune the setup. The included tension handle lets you adjust the braces to increase stability right from a comfortable position. When you’re ready to move, just release the tension before raising or lowering the jacks—simple and quick every time.

Installs Without Drilling: Bolt-On Hardware That Fits Standard Mounts

Getting this stabilizer in place doesn’t require extra fabrication. It’s designed for an easy, bolt-on installation using the included hardware—no drilling needed. The bolts securing the footplate and mounting plate must be 3/8" in diameter; if your existing bolts are smaller, you can enlarge the holes before mounting.

Built to Last Outdoors: Steel Construction with Black Powder Coat Finish

Rain and road grime are part of the camping routine, but corrosion doesn’t have to be. The heavy-duty steel tubes have a black powder coat finish that resists rust and wear over time. Fully retracted, each tube measures 69" long x 1" wide, and extends to 78" long x 1" wide, giving plenty of reach and strength while adding only 20 lbs of weight to your gear.

Product is great. I have them on the front and rear of the trailer and no sway. Rock solid.

by:

All worked good till I finished installing them and that's when it failed,, the end of the square tube that holds the bolt literally broke off,,, lack of weld on the factory part,,,

We reached out to the manufacturer and it is not typical for the square tube to break. Customer service will reach out to you to have this taken care of.

It’s working as advertised. I just bought stabilizers for the rear and it was an an improvement. However, there is still more movement than I like so will soon be ordering a set for the front jacks.

@Kenneth Hey Kenneth, really appreciate you coming back with the one year update. I’m glad to hear it’s working like it should and that adding the rear stabilizers made a noticeable difference. It’s pretty common to still feel some movement with just one set, so adding them to the front jacks too should really help tighten things up and make the whole setup feel more solid. Sounds like you’re on the right track dialing it in to where you want it. Are you mainly noticing that movement when people are walking around inside, or more when you’re getting in and out?

The package looked pretty beat up. But all parts looked good.

by:

I have installed the scissor jack cross bars on front and back of our 30 ft elite passport travel trailer. I can still feel movement when you walk around in the trailer. Not sure if they are worth the xxx.xx I spent on them.

I am sorry you are still having a lot of movement. Please note that scissor jacks must be mounted at a 90 degree angle from your trailer frame and also the mounting plate to the jack must be 3 eights in diameter.

by:

Great customer service! And great produ cts.

by:

just installed on rear of the camper for now it made such a stabilized difference. i might be installing in the front next . had to drill larger holes in my jack but it was not hard. about 1 hour installation

love the stabilizers. it is so nice to walk around inside the camper when the camper is not swaying to your walk i wish i would have known about this product sooner

by:

Works great 5th wheel doesn’t shake at all

by:

They make a big difference in movement of the trailer. My issue for only 4 star is that the head
Of the rod should be longer past the bolt location to make it easier to use by not having to bend
Over as much to see it

by:

Shipping was not so great on the boxes. Looks like they fell out of a moving truck. Really the problem is that the metal arm tips that pop out of the box in shipping. Are scraped and will need to be painted so they don’t rust out.

Customer Service will reach out about the scraped up items. They will need painted with an anti-corrosive Rustoleum like mentioned in this help article:

Really did the job. Very easy to install. Camper is rock solid now. Just wish it was made in the USA. That's the only downside.

Great upgrade over our stock jacks. Make the camper more stable while set-up no more rocking and rolling while walking around in the camper.

by:

Well worth the money. Takes the rock out of our trailer from side to side.

Product worked out great. Took all the swaying motion out of the trailer when you walk around and people at etrailer are awesome to work with..

by:

I've removed one star because of issues we had in installation on our Jayco travel trailer. We had to do some DIY to get the parts to work. The holes and hardware didn't align correctly on both cross braces due to inconsistencies of manufactured holes/hardware. However, once installation was completed, the Jayco trailer was most definitely more stable.

by:

Difficulty in backorder but they shipped as soon as available. Decent communication. Heavy item needed to be packed with sturdier materials but fortunately not damaged. Will most likely buy from them again. Regarding the product only, I wish MORryde would put a standard hex nut adjuster on their products like the same adjusting nut on stabilizers. Don't like the "split-pin" adjuster with the tool they currently supply. Makes it so there is one more thing to keep up with and would be easier to be able to use the cordless drill w/hex nut driver attachment for both this product and the RV's stabilizers...

by:

I bought 2 sets of these, one for the front and one for the rear (I wish they sold a full set of four as a package) These stabilizers remove almost all the bounce from the camper. The only bounce now is if you actually jump up and down. I picked the MORryrde over others because there was no drilling into the frame, it was a simple bolt on install making the extra cost worth it. I did have to buy longer bolts for my particular jacks.

by:

Very easy install and really helps keep movement inside the trailer to a minimum.

by:

This was the second set I have bought. They really help with the movement inside the camper. I will put them on my next camper as well.

by:

Installation was easy. We originally put a set on the back and they helped so much we bought a second set for the front. I have been using the stabilizer for a year now with no issues. The camper movement is greatly reduced. The stabilizer just adds a minute to the setup time, I get the camper level and all four legs down then just snug the cross brace up, they do not need to be overly tight or they will kick the legs out and you loose the benefit of the cross brace.

by:

the delivery was quick and well packaged. The installation was fairly easy another person would have helped but I got it done
