This Dexter hub-and-drum assembly is made for 5,200-lb E-Z Lube trailer axles and gives you a solid braking surface for both electric and hydraulic drum brakes. The 12" diameter x 2" wide drum is sturdy and smooth, offering consistent grip when your brake shoes engage. It’s built from strong iron and uses a 6 on 5-1/2" bolt pattern with 1/2"-20 wheel bolts for a secure fit.
Everything you need to complete the install comes right in the box. The assembly includes inner bearing 25580 (1.75" ID) with race 25520, outer bearing LM67048 (1.25" ID) with race LM67010, grease seal RG06-070 (2.25" ID, 3.376" OD), grease cap, wheel bolts, and lug nuts. That means you can get the job done without chasing down extra parts.
Keeping your bearings greased is simple with the E-Z Lube-compatible cap. Just pop out the rubber plug to access the zerk fitting on your spindle—no need to pull the hub apart or handle messy grease jobs. This quick-service setup keeps maintenance easy and your bearings rolling smoothly.
Each hub is built to fit properly and install without fuss, making it a go-to choice for refreshing older setups or replacing worn components. The included parts and accurate machining mean you get a snug, balanced fit that runs true, helping your brakes perform consistently mile after mile.

1. Count the lug holes
Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are(also called bolt holes).
Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug
2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"
2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"

Been running this drum and bearing assembly for a year and approximately 3500mi now. So far, so good. My only complaint is that it doesn’t come with a new “D” washer which was damaged when the wheel came off. So I had to locate one which wasn’t easy. E-Trailer needs to include this washer for a true complete assembly.
