This CE Smith hub comes pre-greased with heavy-duty, marine-grade lubricant and has all the essentials already installed — inner and outer bearings (L44643), matching races (L44610), and a double-lip grease seal (12192TB). It’s ready to slide onto your spindle out of the box, making it perfect to keep onboard for quick roadside or ramp repairs.
Moisture is the enemy of any trailer hub, but this one’s ready for it. The cast iron hub is painted black for lasting strength, and the wheel bolts, cotter pin, and grease cap are zinc-plated to help resist rust even after repeated launches in salt or freshwater. The double-lip seal keeps grease in and water out, so your bearings stay protected trip after trip.
Keeping a spare hub handy doesn’t have to mean loose parts rolling around in your truck bed. This assembly packs neatly into its own carrying case with a handle, so you can store it safely and grab it fast when you need it. Everything you need to replace one hub fits inside — bearings, races, grease seal, cap, wheel bolts, and cotter pin.
With a 4 on 4" bolt pattern and 1/2" x 1-5/8" wheel bolts, this idler hub fits standard 2,500-lb axles and supports up to 1,250 lbs per hub. The 1.98" inner diameter and 5-9/16" flange diameter make alignment straightforward whether you’re refreshing an old setup or carrying it as a backup. Torque the bolts to 85–95 ft-lbs and you’re ready to roll.
From the pre-threaded flange that accepts screw-in wheel bolts to the clean factory install of the bearing races, every detail cuts down on setup time. The heavy cast build handles steady towing loads without flexing, giving you smooth rotation mile after mile — whether it’s a short local haul or a full weekend on the road.
1. Count the lug holes
Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are(also called bolt holes).
Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug
2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"
2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"

Excellent replacement for my old boat trailer hub
I have a 75 tilt trailer and wasn’t sure if I could find new ones and bam there they were CE13100. Super easy to install as well. Thanks to the people at etrailer for getting me what I ordered to me fast.

Product specs were listed clearly and helped to make an easy decision. They shipped quickly and arrived with everything I ordered. Have not yet tried them on my application but if they don't work it will not be etrailer's fault. Perfectly fit as a replacement for a boat trailer made in the 1960's.
Received in a timely manner (3 days after ordering) and I couldn't be happier. This is in its own carry case and comes greased with everything you need to slide it on, put the castle nut on and drop a cotter pin in. I am planning to make a longer trip up to Northern Wisconsin this coming weekend and wanted to have a spare hub for quick repair if something went wrong.This is the ticket for a reasonable price. Hopefully I wont need it but if I do I have it ready to go.
Well when the UPS driver came and by the time I got home it was a little late but tomorrow is a new day because I’m having to go buy new U-bolts And for some reason they only had one u-bolts holding the old axle on! I’m going to be putting 2 U-bolts on I also tried the new hubs on the tires and they fit perfectly thanks for everything

So far so good. One shot of grease at the beginning of the season with Bearing Buddies and Im ready for the lake
I received 2 new 4 lug hubs and bearing buddy. All came in great condition the lugs were in special plastic cases to protect them. I replaced but hubs with ZERO problems from the new units. Great results when I wasn't sure what would happen. Very easy to replace the old bearings and being already packed with grease made it a lot cleaner.
The inside bearing is so close to the grease seal that the rubber of the seal won't flex enough to allow the hub to go all the way on the axle; i.e. allow the seal to go on to the step up of the axle. I wouldn't tighten the nut any further thinking I might damage the bearings. I only use the trailer to launch a jet ski from the beach. No road use. So I just left it as is.
The hub was pregreased and ready to install. The hub arrived on time and the instructions and video where very helpful. I have pulled the trailer on several occasions and the hub preformed as promised. I am very pleased and would encourage any one looking for quality trailer parts to shop at etrailer.com

I am very satisfied with the hubs. I have taken the trailer on a couple of 500 mile round trips on top of a lot short fishing trips. The hubs are holding up very well.
Worded well no problems at all was an exact replacement.
The only gripe I have is, the bearings in the hub are supposed to be pre-greased. Yes there is grease in the hub, but a very sloppy attempt. The bearings are not fully greased with dry portions. I will need to take some of grease in the hub and properly grease the bearings myself.

Oh dang, sorry about that, Jack. I will have our stock checked to make sure they are greased properly. Pre-greased should mean ready to use, not almost ready to use. What are you going to be installing this on?

Bought 2 to replace on 1970 tee nee boat trailer was a exact fit like these hubs have built in grease fittings

Great product. This was an extremely hard part to find until I learned about etrailer. I replaced the hubs on a boat trailer that has been sitting since the 80's. Hubs were greased and ready to go out of the box. Great packaging that is easy to keep one as a spare in a trailer.

Bought the hubs to replace the ones on a 1956 Tee-Nee boat trailer. The fit was perfect and allowed me to up grade from 8” to 12” tires, being the same hub size and bolt pattern.
These hubs worked out perfectly with everything included needed to easily swap them out. I have hundreds of miles on them and no issues whatsoever, and the plastic box gave me a place to carry a spare hub setup while traveling.
