Hello Mike,

I am happy to get you into the right trailer hub. I am not able to find any information on the DICO 40825. From the measurements you provided it sounds like you have a straight spindle so both your inner and outer bearing are 1.063" I.D. making them bearing # L44649, which means you have a 2,000 pound axle. So you will want the Easy Grease Trailer Idler Hub Assembly # AKIHUB-545-2-G-EZ-2K which is a 5 on 4 1/2" bolt pattern (for 4 on 4 bolt pattern # AKIHUB-440-2-G-2K). The issue that I am running into is that the grease seal is a 1.50" ID and not 1.25" like you measured. I attached an image so you can double check your measurements, it helps to use a digital caliper like # PTW80157 to get the most accurate measurement.

Please confirm the measurements by commenting below so I can ensure we are getting you the right fit. Also, if you are getting a 1.25" at the seal, I would like to know the age of the trailer. Sometime with older boat trailers they do not make the hubs for it which results in needing a new axle. I appreciate your time, and look forward to hearing back from you.

Hey Mike, were you able to recheck those spindle and seal measurements on your boat trailer hub? Once you confirmed them, did one of the 2,000‑lb hub assemblies end up fitting correctly? Your update could make it easier for others trying to match older trailer hubs.
