Availability Of Hub For Short Spindle

Question:
Looking for a hub that will fit my short spindle. The spindle is 3 1/2 inches long to the very end of the thread. I can send a pic. Bearing will need to be L44643.

Hello Zach, thanks for reaching out. We do have hubs that fit a 1" diameter straight spindle, but nothing for a 3-1/2" long short spindle. This kind of spindle is obsolete. All of the hubs we offer are more like 4-1/4" long so they will not work.
The only solution in this case would be to replace your spindles with something more modern. This requires welding and special equipment though. An even easier solution would be to just replace the axle entirely.
