Features to know about

Keeps Air Fresh and Secure with Manual Roof Vent: Lets Heat Escape Without Power

This Ventline Ventadome roof vent keeps air moving inside while the trailer stays locked up tight. The hand-crank dome opens easily from the inside to let in fresh air and push out heat or humidity. There’s no wiring or switches needed—just turn the crank to open or close it. The translucent white polypropylene cover lets some light through, brightening the space without direct sunlight.

Built to Last with Galvanized Steel Flange and Durable Polypropylene Dome

The aerodynamic, wedge-shaped dome is made from tough polypropylene that stands up to weather and road wear. Underneath, the galvanized steel flange won’t rust or corrode, even in damp conditions. The result is a vent that holds up to years of use and keeps its seal tight against the roof.

Ventline Ventadome V2092SP-25 white manual trailer roof vent with wedge-shaped dome and steel base for RV or enclosed trailer installation

Simple Fit for Standard Openings: 14-1/4" x 14-1/4" with Birch White Trim

This vent fits the standard 14-1/4" wide x 14-1/4" long opening found in most setups, so replacing an old vent is simple. The included Birch White interior garnish fits roof thicknesses from 1-7/8" to 3" and gives the inside a clean, finished look. When closed, the vent sits 4-1/2" above the roof and opens up to 10-3/4" for full ventilation.

Easy Cleaning with Snap-Out Screen

Maintenance is quick thanks to the removable screen. It snaps out for cleaning and pops back in without tools, so you can keep bugs and dust out while still getting good airflow.

Ready for a Tight, Leak-Free Install

Mounting is straightforward with the proper installation kit. Apply sealant around the galvanized flange, drop the vent into place, and secure it with #8 screws. Pair it with the Roof Vent Installation Kit # 344270KITW, which includes the screws and sealer needed for a watertight setup.

I really liked how well e-trailer communicated with me about my order. I was impressed how fast it was processed and shipped.
by:
The plastic for mounting the screen and the screen part its self are pretty disappointing. Much lower quality then what had been there for 20 years. I hope to dome lasts a while, we'll see.
by:
perfect fit, identical to the existing unit to be replaced.
by:
2008 Chrysler Aspen
Wasn't too bad to install. Everything worked as stated. I may have gone a little crazy with the self leveling sealant, but that's me.
by:
Good construction, easy operation, all parts fit together well. Easy install.
by:
The vent fit prefect and was easy to instale
by:

@Taylor Ventline makes a nice product. We're glad the # V2092SP-25 trailer roof vent is working well for you!

Top side fit well. Inside trim was not as deep as original. I just used the original trim piece from old vent and that worked.
by:
well built and arrived quickly
by:
It’s been one year (1/4/23) since I purchased and installed these products on my 1994 Airstream Trailer. The complete kit was more than adequate for my job given that the trailer had a few other areas requiring attention or needing the self-leveling sealer. I waited for the ideal conditions (weather, temperature, and time of day) before applying the parts and sealing a few other external components. We’ve had several rain events and temperature swings and these products have held up very well. The trailer serves more as an office now which increases the importance for not having leaks!

This was a great choice to select these projects and particularly, from this vendor. They were very responsive and quick to get the order out.

Thanks to George and his Team!
Happy New Year 2024

I have purchased these product previously and never had any problems with either. Thanks

by:
This vent fit my need perfectly to replace a damaged, rusty and irreparable one in my 50 year old newly purchased camper. Etrailer.com was easy to find and order and they were very prompt with my order. The vent was easy to install and once I sealed it according to their instructions and with additional roof work being completed I have no more roof leaks! I also have a good looking, easy to use vent for my camper. I will be doing more business with this company in the future as I tackle other repairs on my camper. Thanks etrailer.com!
by:
This was an exact match with my existing, but badly hail-damaged roof vents. Even the pre-drilled screw holes on the exterior flange perfectly matched the existing screw holes in the roof. The old vents were solidly caulked and sealed to the metal roof, so removal was a bear! Lacquer Thinner worked great to remove all traces of the old sealing tape from the roof. On the bathroom vent, I found that the interior trim piece vertical flange was too long and wouldn't seal against the ceiling, possibly due to some variation on how the ceiling/roof was constructed. I used a sanding disc, then a very sharp razor knife to remove about 3/8" of material to finish the installation.
by:
Great product. Perfect fit and shipping was fast and efficient. Now I just need to pull the rig out and go on an adventure. Have not been out since the replacement. I used flexseal to recoat the roof and integrated this part and it is working like a champ.
by:
We just became the proud owners of a 61 Fan and had to replace the dome vent - after answering questions about what was the best fit from etrailer, we ordered their recommended replacement. Perfect fit all the way around and so easy to install! Great customer support and superfast shipping! Great job!!
by:
It has been a year since we changed out our vent and it is performing perfectly. We used the roof vent installation kit with the roof vent. Everything was simple to do.
by:
I can't say enough how easy the ordering process was and shipping time was very reasonable as well. The dome arrived and it was super easy to remove the old worn out one I had and with a little silicon the new one was bolted back in place. Took maybe 30-45 mins total to replace and it fit perfectly. Looks great and works fantastic!!

Ford Edge
A bit better constructed than the roof vent I purchased this one to replace. One minor point however: one of the screws on the inside was missing. However, my old broken vent has exactly the same screw in place, so I've already got one. One edge of the metal fitting that lies on top of the van roof was slightly bent. Don't know if that happened in transit or no. However, I can easily bend the crimp out myself. Otherwise, a fine van vent to put on top of my old Ford Econoline.
by:
The vent went in very easily. took about 70 min. to remove old damaged one and replace with this vent. however I reused my old interior trim. this product came with 1 7/8 INCH trim. Needed 5+ inch deep Trim. thus the three star rating

You can switch out the ceiling garnish for a taller one like with part # VA0445-37 which is 5.31 inches tall. It can be trimmed down if it is too tall.

After calling many dealerships to try and get a specific part (and not getting an answer or call back) I called etrailer and spoke with Pat (immediately). I told her what I needed and she knew exactly the correct part. She shipped it out the same day! I will definitely be a customer for life and have already recommended etrailer to my friends! Excellent customer service!!!

The vent arrived on time. When I had a question about cutting it to fit the thickness of the rv roof, I was given good advice in a call to etrailer.

I’m glad I found your company for buying trailer roof vent. I’ll keep you on my list for go to for parts. We are so happy it went right in and a easy install. Our son put it in, we can’t climb ladder for picture. Thank you
by:
I have ordered three of the Ventline roof vents before on another travel trailer roof replace and liked these vents. Started a new project and I'm using the same Ventline replacements on this one also. These vents seem to be a better quality for the price to me.
Thanks to the folks at etrailer for the help and fast processing of my orders, always!
by:
all was just like you said it was going to be. Thank you for the return shipping label which made the return very easy. Great customer service and product. I would send you a picture of my product but it is hot on the roof right now and I am not getting up there again unless I need to. Just kidding. If you've seen 1 roof vent you have seen them all.

  • Roof Vent for 5" Thick RV Roof
Hey Larry! All of the vents like the Ventline Ventadome Trailer Roof Vent # V2092SP-25 are in fact designed for a roof that isn't as thick as yours. What you need to do is pick up an additional ceiling garnish # VA0445-29. This will allow you to install the vent on a roof that is 4-7/8" to 6" thick. You may also need the Roof Vent Installation Kit # 344270KITW. What kind of RV do you have?
