Question:
Im looking for a complete vent assembly for my rv. The old one is made by Ventline. Its 14 1/2 x 14 1/2 but my ceiling is 5 inches thick. The vents that Ive looked at all seem to be for thinner ceilings. I dont need a fan. Can you help me find one? Thanks!

Hey Larry! All of the vents like the Ventline Ventadome Trailer Roof Vent # V2092SP-25 are in fact designed for a roof that isn't as thick as yours. What you need to do is pick up an additional ceiling garnish # VA0445-29. This will allow you to install the vent on a roof that is 4-7/8" to 6" thick. You may also need the Roof Vent Installation Kit # 344270KITW.
What kind of RV do you have?
