Im needing a vent cover for my sundowner horse trailer. It is an older model. It is not exactly square. It measures about 12.5inch x13. Could thus be right. I know normally they are square 14x14. The hinge is an odd one that Ive not been able to find. If you could suggest a lid for me or should I replace whole vent with universal. And 2nd question if I change everything will I have to cut hole bigger? I have not taken it apart yet to see whole size.

The replacement lid you're looking for is the Camco Replacement Lid for Jensen RV Roof Vent w/ Pin-Style Hinge # CAM40147. This is designed for standard 14" x 14" vent covers which you actually have. The 14" measurement is taken from the opening up above which is why your measurements are slightly different.
If you wanted to upgrade to a newer vent that is completely possible and you won't have to modify the hole in your roof. For a standard replacement I recommend the Ventline Ventadome # V2092SP-25, but if you wanted an upgraded version I recommend the MaxxAir Mini # MA00-03700 instead. The Ventadome is basically the same as what you have now while the Mini comes with a cover so you can keep it opened up while you're driving or even while it's raining. Be sure to also pick up the Roof Vent Installation Kit # 344270KITW to properly install your new vent!
