Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Valterra Universal Vent Lid. This lid features a universal design. It's going to feature various mounting bracket points, so it's going to do a great job at matching multiple applications such as MaxAir, Fan-Tastic Vent, Comfort Air, Jensen, Ventline, Elixir, Ventadome and others' roof vents as well. The unit is constructed of a very strong, polypropylene construction. It's very strong and durable. It's impact and UV-resistant. You can tell here that the lid is white in color.
Taking a look at some of the dimensions real quick, going edge to edge this direction, it's going to give us a measurement of 15 inches. Going edge to edge this way, that's going to give us a measurement of 16 inches. The overall depth top to bottom is three and a half inches deep. Mounting hardware is included. The side hinge brackets, that's these brackets right here, these would attach to the vent seal flange using the included hardware. The universal lid comes with detailed installation instructions that are designed to help walk you through the entire installation process step by step. Please note that some lids have a channel type track slider.
If this is the case, you will need to remove the sheet metal bracket and attach the supplied plastic track. You position the track such that it lines up with the center of the cover. Then all the other installation steps are going to be the same. That's going to do it for today's look at the Valterra Universal Vent Lid.

As i could not order the original part from Winnebago, i wasn't sure this would work, but to my surprise, easy replacement and i feel it will last many years to come. Thank you for an affordable replacement option for my Winnebago Aspect.
