Can you please tell me how I can be sure this vent will work on my trailer? And what else do I need by the way of seals and such for installation? Thank you

Thank you for providing the photos of your trailer roof vent that requires replacement.
Based on your photos and ruler measurement it appears that your 2005 Gore trailer uses a standard size roof vent intended for a 14-1/4 x 14-1/4-inch rough opening. I have linked you to our main page for trailer roof vent assemblies just in case you wish to consider other designs which include options in metal as well as plastic.
The Ventline kit you referenced, part # V2092SP-25, should work fine for you. This kit includes an interior garnish (trim ring) that will fit trailer roofs between 1-7/8-inches and 3-inches thick, but deeper garnish rings are offered for thicker roofs, such as # VA0445-29. This item is shown in the linked video.
This Ventline unit will extend above the roof 4-1/2-inches when closed and 10-3/4-inches when open.
You will need an installation kit to mount the new vent assembly. If your trailer has a metal or coated metal roof you can use kit # 344270KITW. If it has a rubber roof you can instead use kit # CAM25013, which is shown in the linked video.
