Keeping grease or oil where it belongs is key to protecting your hub and axle components. These unitized oil seals create a dependable barrier against leaks and outside elements while handling demanding towing conditions.
Seal numbers are not always listed the same way across axle and hub brands, so the cross-reference data gives you another way to confirm the replacement before the hub comes apart. This Lippert unitized oil seal matches the following common seal numbers:

Hi everyone, Steve here with the etrailer. Let's take a look at this Lippert unitized oil seal pack. Folks, you're going to get a quantity of two. These are going to fit about a 12,000 pound to 16,000 pound axle. The spindle shaft diameter, or the inner diameter, is going to be 3.125 inches with a four and a half inch or a 4.5 outside diameter. And you want to measure those with dial calipers.
If you don't have a pair of those, we do carry them separately here at etrailer as well. You can pick a set up. Now these are a dual action seal. This is gonna stay fixed onto the spindle while the outer casing rotates on the hub. Now these are technically made for or, as oil seals, but they will technically work with grease as well in a pinch, so you could use them if you need to.
And as you know, the unitized oil seal provides that protective barrier between the axle hub and the outside elements. So it's going to help retain that oil or grease and keep everything working the way it should. Now these are compatible with most competitor trailer axle hubs. So pretty much any brand out there, as long as it's the right measurement, then you should be good to go. And that's going to wrap up our time together.
I'm Steven. Thanks for watching.
