A trailer that sways or bounces makes every mile harder. This 5,200-lb axle keeps things under control with an 89" hub-face-to-hub-face length and a 74" spring-center-to-spring-center setup for balanced weight distribution. The 3" diameter high-strength steel beam includes a built-in camber that evens out tire contact across the tread, so your trailer tracks straight and rides steady mile after mile.
Smooth, predictable stops are part of the package. The cast-iron hub-and-drum assemblies come pre-greased and include bearings, races, seals, and lug nuts, along with easy-to-install electric brake assemblies. With no hydraulic lines or actuators to manage, the setup stays simple and dependable. The 12-15/16" diameter by 2-3/8" wide drums meet CSA, QAI, and SAE-N testing standards for consistent braking performance under load.
Loading heavy gear is easier when the deck sits lower. The underslung design—spring seats welded to the underside of the axle—lets your trailer ride closer to the ground for simpler loading and unloading. Welded-on spindles and seats are precisely aligned from the factory, so everything bolts together cleanly with standard leaf springs (sold separately).
Keeping bearings lubricated is quick and mess-free thanks to the Easy Grease spindles. Each one has a built-in grease zerk that lets fresh grease flow directly to the bearings without disassembly. The pre-greased hubs save setup time, and the sealed caps keep dirt and water out so the system stays smooth and quiet.
Everything you need to mount and roll comes in the box—electric brake assemblies, hubs, drums, bearings, races, seals, and mounting hardware. Each axle weighs 143 lbs and is built using a patented welding process that makes the spindle joints 40% stronger than standard welds. Tested and certified for safety, this axle gives you a durable, well-balanced foundation for hauling with confidence.

I ordered two axles to upgrade my trailer capacity to what the frame is rated for, 12,000lbs. The axles have great bearing seats and backing plate studs. The backing plates are fully assembled and ready to connect to the wires already installed into the axle tubes. The hub assembly went smooth and only one set of break shoes needed adjustment. A good buy along with the 5 fully assembled tires and wheels.
No problems. It's working great.did a few trips no incidents.

...well I mean, if we are making requests...lol I got a list!
New 5,200 lb axles with hubs and electric brakes were delivered in good condition by UPS. Quality appears to be very good. Even though installation looked to be straight forward, the lack of directions and instructions left some uncertainty. However, the etrailer website and Google were helpful in explaining the process.
Buying the kit complete was a good decision. It showed up early than predicted and having the grease and wires already in place shows your professionalism. I would recommend this product and company to everyone in the market.
