Question:
I have a 2007 Venture VATB 12625 triple axle trailer that needs 4 cross beams and 3 axles/hubs. Would like to change to electric brakes too. Interested in going up on axle capacity since trailer is maxed out with boat boat is 12,400#dry.

To find the replacement parts you need you will have to identify what you have now. Based on the 14,625 lb GVWR you likely have 4,400 or 5,200 lb axles on the trailer. You will need to check your axle tag to verify this information. You will also need to know your hub face to hub face measurement for a replacement. See the video below which shows how to measure.
Once you have this information we will be able to see what replacement parts are available. For example, if you have an 89" long 4,400 lb axle you could replace it with the 5,200 lb # e75SR. This includes the hubs and electric brake assemblies. Keep in mind, increasing axle capacity likely won't increase the capacity of your trailer. You would need to check with the manufacturer to see if the frame could handle the additional weight.
You will also need to add a 7-way like # HM20048. I also recommend using a junction box like # 3375601101. For a breakaway kit you can use # 20400. You can either replace your coupler with standard coupler or drill and permanently lock out your actuator with a bolt.
In addition to the video showing how to measure an axle I have added a link to all of our standard couplers below. You can sort by coupler size, channel width, and capacity.
