Question:

I need to replace the Lippert axle on my 2011 Crossroads Cruiser CF335ss fith wheel. The Lippert number is 167086 and is tagged as 5200 lbs with 88inch F to f and 69inch c/c springs mounts. And if it is replaceable can i use the existing bearings and hubs?

Thank you for the information!

The closest standard-style axle we have is the etrailer Trailer Axle w/ Electric Brakes # e75SR which has an 89" hub face measurement and 74" spring center measurement. Having a slightly larger hub face is generally fine but the 5" different in spring centers means you'll have to have the spring seats cut off and new ones welded on with part # TRSS300 in the appropriate places.

Another solution we have to offer is the Timbren Axle-Less Suspension # ASR5200S01 which is a torsion-style axle that completely replaces your standard axle and leaf spring setup. The only issue with going this route is that you'd have to replace both axles on your 5th wheel.

For an exact replacement that won't require any modification you'll need to reach out to your local RV dealer or shop and have them place an order where they can choose specific specs from their axle supplier.

Attached are some videos of the parts mentioned above for you to check out.
