Question:
I have a 22834 hub with timkin outer bearing 1779 and inner of 2788. It is an old trailer with 6 hole 5 1/2 rims. If I want to replace the hub will this one fit or can you give me a replacement part number?

Expert Reply:
The Outer Bearing # 1779 and Inner Bearing # 2788 are going to be specific to your current 22834 hub. You will need to replace your axle as the current 5,200LB axles use a much larger spindle. We do have the following axles available that will included electric braking hubs that have your 6 on 5-1/2" bolt pattern.
95" Trailer Axle w/ Electric Brakes # e55SR
89" Trailer Axle w/ Electric Brakes # e75SR
86-1/2" Dexter Trailer Axle w/ Electric Brakes # 8327816-EB
