Question:
Are they leaking unacceptably? What is considered an acceptable pressure in the bags over a week or a month?

It is not normal for air bags used in the Air Lift systems like the # AL88204, or Firestone systems like the # F2430 to leak air, but due to changes in temperature you could lose a few pounds per month.
If you are losing quite a bit of air pressure it is very likely that you have a leak with an air hose, air bag, or valve used to fill the air bags.
The easiest way to see if you have a leak is to mix a spray bottle with soap and water, then spray the soapy water mix on all of the air bag components with the air bags filled up. If you see any bubbles that is a leak, and you will need replace or fix the leaking component.
If it is a connection, tightening the fitting will likely stop the leak. If it is not something that can be tightened the component will need to be replaced.
If you find a component that needs to be replaced just let me know the Model/Brand of your air bag system, and which part needs to be replaced and I would be happy to help you find the correct replacement.
