Question:

Is the internal jounce bumper chamber isolated from incoming air pressure? And by that, I am asking if only one bellow actually changes in air pressure? I am trying to decide between the Ultimate and Regular 5000 load lifter and am trying to determine if I am giving anything up with the internal jounce bumper. Thanks,

The internal jounce bumper of the # AL88204 that you referenced is not affected by air pressure. It is not an air spring, it is a rubber spring.

If you will be hauling on the higher end of the capacity of your vehicle then I would recommend the jounce bumper kit # AL88204.

For a compressor kit to go with this kit I would recommend the # AL25592.
