Question:
Looking at the the 5000 ultimate and the 7500 XL. I run about 80 unloaded and worried about the jounce bumping engaging way to early and affecting the ride quality on the 5000s. I have a leveled truck and run 4 K Lbs pin weight while towing.

Both the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000, Item # AL57338, and 7500 XL, Item # AL57538, fit your 2018 GMC Sierra 2500. When you are running unloaded you will have a stiffer ride. If you adjust your air pressure then you can smooth out the ride when empty.
The LoadLifter 5000 is designed to help provide support progressively as you load more up to 5,000-lbs. It is also for occasional towing and hauling. The LoadLifter 7500 XL works much like the LoadLifter 5000 but handles a 7,500-lb capacity. They also have 7 inch diameter springs which handle more volume and provide greater leveling than the LoadLifter 5000 at lower air pressures. It is also designed for carrying a constant load.
The LoadLifter 5000 will work well unless you are constantly towing which is one of the main purposes of the LoadLifter 7500 XL. I have linked videos of both kits for you to review.
You may also be interested in the a compressor like # AL25856 to monitor and control the air pressure from inside your truck's cab.
