Features to know about

Stay Level and Confident Under Heavy Load: Up to 5,000 lbs of Rear Suspension Support

When the back end starts to sag with a trailer or heavy cargo, the LoadLifter 5000 air springs step in with up to 5,000 lbs of load-leveling capacity. They help keep your vehicle level front to rear, which means steadier steering, safer braking, and headlights that stay aimed correctly. By spreading the weight across all four wheels, the system takes the strain off your factory suspension so it can handle heavy loads without bottoming out or bouncing around.

Dial In Your Ride: Adjustable Air Pressure from 5 psi to 100 psi

Every load is different. With these air springs you can adjust air pressure anywhere from 5 psi to 100 psi for the ride that fits your setup. Add more air when hauling or towing for firmer support, or drop it down when unloaded for a smoother drive. Each spring can be inflated independently using the included manual valves and air lines, letting you level side to side if your load isn’t balanced.

Built to Last Through Real Work: Reinforced Rubber and Zytel Nylon Endcaps

Durability is key when you rely on your suspension every day. These air springs use 2-ply, fabric-reinforced rubber that resists wear and road shock. The endcaps are made from high-strength Zytel nylon, lighter and more corrosion-resistant than steel, so they won’t rust or develop leaks over time. Air Lift’s exclusive roll plates protect each bag and boost load capacity while helping extend the life of the system.

Smooth Out Rough Roads: Stable, Comfortable Load Control

Heavy trailers and uneven cargo can make any truck feel unsettled on the road. This system evens things out by reducing sway and absorbing road shock for a smoother ride. It helps tires wear evenly and keeps steering more predictable whether you’re pulling a travel trailer down the highway or hauling gear through town.

Install It and Go: Everything You Need Is Included

The kit comes with mounting brackets, hardware, manual inflation valves, and air lines so you can bolt it up and start adjusting right away. Once installed, you can easily add an optional compressor system later if you want in-cab control or wireless adjustment on the go.

I just completed the install of this Airlifter 5000 series air bag kit. First, the kit, without a doubt, is a high quality kit with many of it's components designed specifically for specific vehicle application. I installed it under the rear of our new-to-us 2021 Ram 1500 Crew Cab Laramie 4x4 Ecodiesel. I was very pleasantly surprised by the nice and robust powder coating of the metal mounting plates. That means protection for them for a long, long time. The hardware/fastners were/are of decent quality also. And, while the "springs" used for the temporary carriage bolt retention in part of the install are a good idea, I have maybe a better way of doing that. In my opinion, for whatever that's worth, here's a suggestion.
Since there are TWO of those carriage bolts that have to be installed AT ONE TIME, you now have to deal with those two long tailed springs, carriage bolts that continue to fall backwards into the abyss of the frame, all the while trying to maneuver the frame mount plate into position. Then, trying to retain tension on the tails of those springs that retain the carriage bolts, and align the bolt tips to enter the mount plate, and then, if and or when you get the mount plate into position and both bolt tips are protruding through it, you now have to hold ALL of that in place, while you remove at least one spring so that you can now grab a nut (a feat unto itself) and fit it onto the tip of one bolt, all the while trying to hold tension on that bolt so it won't fall backwards into the frame and start threading it.
Then, once it's threads are started, you can no concentrate on the same operation for the second bolt. What a serious pain in the petute!

But instead of the springs and tails to be used to retain the bolts while prepping to install the mount plate, you use whatever their called, a very, very thin retainer clip or washer or "push clip" (I really don't know the name of them) that are used to retain the drums onto hubs on an axle, ALL THOSE PROBLEMS would be over.

You'd simply use the springs as before to load and pull the bolts through their respective holes as before. Now, with the one bolt in place, reach through the center hole in the frame that's between the two bolt holes and using a finger, push on the head of that installed bolt. Your finger will now hold the bolt in place. Now, with that bolt held in place, you can remove the spring. Then, PUSH the very thing spring clip right over the threads of the bolt and it will "ratchet" down the threads until it bottoms out against the frame. You have now LOCKED that bolt in place and you can let got of it with your finger and that bolt isn't going anywhere!!!!!!!!

Now, do the same for the second bolt. Now, both bolts are held firm in place WITHOUT the long and cumbersome tails of the springs. You can now grab the mount plate and push it up into place and over both exposed sets of threads at the same time WITHOUT FEAR of pushing the bolts back into the frame. You can now hold that mount plate in place while you grab one nut at a time and thread it all the way on. Then do the same for the other nut.

To me, this would be waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay easier than the method you (and I, and any installer, be it a shop or a home install) are presently using. If I had a link to what kind of clip I'm talking about, I'd link it.

But, those clips are seriously thin yet are quite capable of retaining those bolts and will not hinder the mate-up of the mount plate to the frame sides. Sure seems worth a looking into to me. Just a suggestion.

I didn’t do the install myself. However my mechanic talked me into these after adding a rack and rooftop tent to my ‘14 Tacoma. Absolutely Fantastic. I have a 3” suspension lift and the truck handles as near to stock as I can remember. Awesome product. Easy install (according to mechanic). Thanks all. Oh yes, one issue because I added a leaf spring when I lifted it. He had to find new shackles to allow for fit. FYI

by:

Took my time and followed included instructions exactly. Went together well! Haven’t towed with them yet, but definitely raised the back of my Tacoma with 26 lbs of air pressure that I tested for leaks with! Feel like they’ll be a big improvement when towing our 4200 lbs. camper!

by:

Very easy step by step instructions, how to install. It took me about two hours in my driveway. I got it because I haul a 35' travel trailer. Makes the ride a whole lot smoother

by:

Watched the install video twice before the shipment got here and had no problems installing it. Also installed the WirelessOne from Airlift at the same time. Picked up some 1/4" clamps to make the air lines look a little cleaner, and hold them in place during our snowy and icy winters. Including the WirelessOne system, it took about 8 hours from the time I washed the underside of the truck until I rolled it back out from the garage. Pulled the camper this morning and all my old issues have disappeared. Truck is level, trailer pulls great, and the cooling system is back to working as needed. Highly recommend this suspension kit!

by:

Quick and easy ordering. Installation will be done by my mechanic we shall see how it turns out. Hopefully it is just what the doctor ordered

by:

Excellent product, fast and quick installation. Match perfectly to my truck, couldn't found anything else better.

by:

After a year the air bags work great and the fitment is easy and works great. Thanks

by:

Haven't made a long trip with a heavy load, yet. But they have smoothed out the ride with 5-10 PSIG. Had my grandson install them for me because I hate working on any car or truck. He had them installed in about 90 minutes including cleaning up and putting away my tools. It comes as advertised, no drilling required (except for the valves that had to be mounted in the bumper). I have 2 other trucks that I use working on our farm and I think I'm going to get a set for both of them.

by:

Kit is well designed... However; Its a Premium priced kit with cheap hardware, steel nuts and bolts used instead of stainless - they will rust quickly, air fittings are cheap and air hose is obviously the cheapest they could find - very inconsistent in diameter and doesn't seal well in the fittings.

by:

Direct bolt on kit. Directions made it easy to install. Truck sits perfectly level with over 8k trailer hooked up.

  • Air Bags And Compressor Setup For 2024 Nissan Titan
Hi Matthew, Let's go ahead and start with the air bags for your 2024 Nissan Titan, and for that the right part is the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Helper Springs # AL57331. These'll do a superb job of supporting the rear of your truck, keeping it level to improve its handling. Adding a compressor is a great idea because of how much simpler it makes maintaining and monitoring the air bags, and the easiest way to do that is with a wireless compressor, the Air Lift WirelessAIR Compressor...

  • Will Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Fit 2019 Nissan Titan With 6" Lift
Hi Brendan; the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 # AL57331 will fit your 2019 Nissan Titan with a 6" lift. However, you will need to measure to find the correct spacer. While parked on level ground measure between the mounting surfaces of the upper and lower brackets as seen in the figure below. The air spring that comes with this kit is 58439 which is 5-1/2" tall. So H - 5-1/2" = your lift spacer height. We have a 6" spacer # AL52460 and a 4" spacer # AL52440 available. There is also a 2" #...

  • Recommended Air Bags for a 2018 Nissan Titan and Cost of Install
The only set of airbags we have available for a 2018 Nissan Titan are the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Helper Springs part # AL57331 which will only work on the 4WD models. If this is what you have then these are a great option and are actually designed so you can install them yourself as there is not cutting or drilling required. The Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Helper Springs are going to do an excellent job of helping level the truck while a heavy load is applied which is going to bring...

  • Which Air Lift Air Bag Helper Springs Will Fit The 2023 Nissan Titan Pro 4X Pickup?
Yes, the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Helper Springs # AL57331 will fit on your 2023 Nissan Titan Pro 4x. Personally I recommend upgrading to the Kit # AL88331 which has the internal jounce bumper. This will act similarly to the factory jounce springs you remove to install the air springs. When hauling heavy loads it also helps to reduce bouncing which is common with other air spring kits. The Air Lift WirelessAIR Compressor System # AL58WQ works great with these air springs. It has a...

  • 2020 Nissan Titan SV 2WD Air Bag Kit Recommendation for Towing a Travel Trailer
Hey Scott, congrats on your new 2020 Nissan Titan SV 2WD! I definitely recommending installing the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Helper Springs # AL57331 instead of an RAS kit just because you get more adjustability out of the air bags. They do require maintenance (checking them periodically to make sure they are holding air) but the tradeoff of getting to decide exactly how much help you want is a huge advantage, especially if you add a compressor kit like the Air Lift WirelessONE # AL25980...

  • Can Air Lift Air Bag Kit for 2017 Nissan Titan be Used with Weight Distribution
The Air Lift LoadLifter part # AL57331 that you referenced is a fit for your 2017 Nissan Titan 4WD crew cab and will offer you additional support when towing the travel trailer you mentioned. It can be used with an Equal-i-zer as well but you'll need to first decide how much air pressure you are going to use and then set up the Equal-i-zer again as you'll need less spring bar tension.

  • Air LIft LoadLifter 5000 Kit For 2019 Nissan Titan SV 4x4 That Doesn't Require Drilling
If you're wanting to upgrade your suspension on your 2019 Nissan Titan with the Air LIft LoadLifter 5000 you want to get this kit # AL57331 for your 4x4 Titan. Depending on where you want your air lines to go you may have to drill a hole in your bumper to mount the air valve for inflating and deflating. The only thing you will need to cut is the air lines on this unit so you're all good!

  • Recommended Rear Suspension Enhancement For 2017 Nissan Titan SV 2WD
I have a different rear suspension enhancement option, but the Air Lift # AL57331 is only confirmed to fit 2017 Nissan Titan 4WD models, and will not fit yours that is 2WD. There is not an air helper spring kit confirmed to fit the 2WD models. Instead I recommend going with the RoadActive Suspension Custom Leaf Spring Enhancement Kit # RAS4611 which provides 2000lbs of load leveling support to fight suspension sag when carrying a heavy payload or towing a trailer. This kit also improves...

  • Will Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Bags Fit 2020 Nissan Titan Pro-4X
Yes, the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Helper Springs - Rear Axle # AL57331 will fit your 2020 Nissan Titan Pro-4X. I checked with Air Lift, and according to my contact you should not need spacers unless you have installed aftermarket leaf springs. In addition to the air bags, I would also recommend adding an air compressor like the Air Lift WirelessAIR Compressor System # AL74000EZ. This will allow you to adjust the pressure in your air bags wherever you go from the cab of your vehicle....
