When you’re towing a small camper, hauling tools, or loading up the bed, sagging in the rear can throw off your ride. The Hellwig EZ-990 Helper Springs add up to 2,000 lbs of load leveling capacity above your stock leaf springs to keep things steady and level. By reducing rear-end squat, these helper springs help maintain proper handling, braking, and headlight aim even when the truck is working hard.
Heavy loads can make a truck bounce or sway more than it should. These helper springs flex with your leaf springs to control body roll and limit bouncing. The result is a smoother, more stable ride whether you’re pulling a trailer or carrying gear over rough stretches. Steering stays predictable and the truck feels planted on corners and uneven roads.
No two loads are exactly the same. The adjustable U-bolts on the EZ-990 make it easy to fine-tune support for different weights. You can even adjust the driver’s and passenger’s sides independently if one side carries more weight than the other. It’s a simple way to balance out uneven loads and keep your setup riding level every time you haul.
Adding load support doesn’t have to be complicated. The EZ-990 bolts above your factory leaf springs using included mounting hardware—no special tools or fabrication needed. Its durable steel construction and silver vein hammer tone powder coat finish resist corrosion for long-lasting performance that you can count on trip after trip.

Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at these Hellwig EZ 990 Helper Springs. Now, these helper springs are designed to fit your 2004 and newer Nissan Titan. And on custom fit parts such as these helper springs, I do recommend taking advantage of our vehicle fit guide here at etrailer.com. Simply input the year, make, and model of your vehicle, and our fit guide will confirm if these will work for you, or if we have something comparable that will work for you.
Now, these custom helper springs with a load leveling capacity of 2000 pounds are going to upgrade your factory leaf springs, installing above your Titan's rear factory leaf springs to reduce sway and body roll, while preventing sagging when towing or hauling light loads. And they're going to extend the life of your factory suspension, tires, and brakes. And these springs will flex with your lease springs to limit bouncing, while providing optimal stability. The U-bolts that you see here on the sides, they can be adjusted to suit different loads. The drivers and passenger sides can be adjusted independently for uneven loads.
And these springs are made here in the USA of a durable steel construction, which will ensure a long-lasting performance. And I just wanted to give you a overhead closeup here to show you the finish on one of these springs. This features a silver vein hammer toned powder coat finish. It's going to help resist corrosion. Now, this is going to be a bolt-on installation, again, above your Titan's rear factory leaf springs.
As you can see here, all of the mounting hardware that you need is included with this kit, along with instructions to walk you through the installation process. I do wanna point out that if you happen to have vehicles with composite or plastic leaf springs, this set would not be compatible with that. Because of the durability and just how robust these springs are, they could potentially crack or damage your plastic or composite leaf springs. So this is not compatible with a vehicle with plastic or composite leaf springs. Again, the weight capacity is 2000 pounds.
And I do want to also point out that Hellwig Helper Springs will not actually increase your Titan's weight carrying capacity. Hellwig does put a lifetime warranty on this kit.
