Whether you're hauling heavy loads in your bed or cargo area or towing a trailer, you will often see the rear of your vehicle sag while the front end rises. In these cases, the rear axle is handling not only the weight of the cargo, but also more of the vehicle's weight. Because less weight is on the front axle, the front tires are making less contact with the road. Overall handling - traction, steering, and braking - is negatively affected. But the resistance from Timbren's Suspension Enhancement System works with your factory suspension to keep your vehicle level and improve your driving experience.
The Timbren system comes with custom-fit brackets that are bolted onto each frame rail above your rear axle. Hollow rubber springs are bolted to the bottom of the bracket and hang down to where the bottom of the leaf spring sits, 1" above the axle. The inch of clearance allows the existing factory suspension to operate normally under light loads and standard terrain, ensuring the smooth, comfortable ride that you are used to.
Timbren Suspension Enhancement Systems are designed to work progressively. When the hollow rubber springs are compressed, the convoluted design causes them to quickly collapse along the folds. Once the folds are compacted, the stacked barrel shape increases resistance, stiffening the suspension and keeping your vehicle level.
Each hollow rubber spring works independently to support the driver's-side or passenger's-side of your vehicle. This is helpful when you swerve or make sharp turns. Each spring is activated when it is needed, so body roll is greatly reduced. The independent action also works well when you are hauling off-center loads.
Because your vehicle handles better with the springs, less turbulence will be passed along to the trailer and this helps to keep the trailer in line. Your driving comfort is further enhanced if the trailer does begin to sway (from a gust of wind or a passing semi) because the movement from the trailer is not transferred to your vehicle. This also works to make the sway subside more quickly.
Another great feature of the rubber construction is that the springs absorb most of the road shock, creating a smoother, more stable ride overall. Wear and tear on the factory suspension is also lessened because the rubber springs work to prevent bottoming out on rough roads.
Timbren's Suspension Enhancement Systems are much easier to install than air springs - there are no air hoses to run, no compressors or gauges to hook up, and no manual adjustments to make. The rubber construction makes Timbren's springs more elastic than similar products constructed of microcellular urethane. And more elasticity allows for a more comfortable ride because the rubber has more travel.

Does a great job of keeping my Nissan Titan level when pulling my car hauler or camper. Install was very simple
Threw these on my 06 Nissan Titan. Towed a 5th wheel from Colorado to New Jersy and back. The drive felt great with these on.
Very easy to install even though the istructions haven't been updated to the '17-'19 model year Titans. You have to remove the bump stop that is mounted to the top (instructions show it mounted to the leaf spring). To install the bump stops simply pull out, then you remove the mounting plate with a 1/2" socket, then follow the included instructions. I bought this to help my pickup sit more level and to help provide a little extra lateral stability in crosswinds when towing my travel trailer. It certainly helps with being more level, but I haven't towed in the wind yet to see if it helps in that area. I measured the top of the tire to the fender and it is 5.5" in the front, 5.25" in the rear with the travel trailer fully loaded and ready for camping. I gave this four stars because it looked like it was used when it showed up. It doesn't have to be pretty, but I really don't like buying new items and receiving used ones.
The Timbren Aeon Spring System Vehicle Suspension was easy to install on my 2005 Nissan Titan. The only problem I have is that the, per the Timbren instructions, your load is only taken on by the Tembren (rubbers) after the load on your vehicle's leaf springs depressing allows contact with rubbers. Only on my truck the it's the opposite. I'm riding on the rubbers without any extra weight in my bed, causing a very uncomportable ride, and a lot of unnecessary bouncing around. It's great when I'm pulling my 26' travel trailer, or my fully loaded 16' wood hauling utility trailer. They also make the back of my tailgate higher, making it harder to load and unload. After I bring my travel trailer down from my hunting camp the Timbren rubbers are coming off.
I installed the timbren rear suspension system... I have been very happy with the product and would encourage anyone looking to enhance tow capacity of a truck to use this system
Unhappy with the unloaded ride quality when installed on my Nissan Titan, especially on rough roads! Timbren should have used a much softer rubber spring for this application. I chose to remove these after only one week because I could not tolerate the ride. Unfortunately I didn't experience this product under a loaded condition when pulling my travel trailer. I am going to try the Firestone Workrite product next (I hope it is better), sine I want to stick with an airless helper spring system.
This is the second truck that I own which I have them on. I have them on my Ford diesel truck which I pull a 12000 lb 5th wheel, and now my nissan truck for pulling my boat and 4 wheeled. These are a great cheap investment which I recommend.
Put a set on my Dodge and now I have them on my Nissan.
Here is a pic of my install on a 2011 Nissan Titan.
I put them on a 2005 Nissan Titan. We up graded tires to LTs and dropped 25 hundred pounds of salt and the truck sat level. Very pleased with them
Great product for your towing needs. I added these to my 2012 Nissan Titan SV. Easy install and could feel a difference in support.
Easy to install, makes the truck ride like a 1 ton though.
Easy install fast service
Smooth

I used this on my Isuzu tow truck. The blocks in and of themselves are fine, they support the weight. Here's the problem: They are pre-loaded, meaning that they always touch between the frame and the rear axle. As you load the vehicle this puts more pressure on the frame in this 5" area where the blocks are. The springs have not yet taken as much weight as they normally would. Now, all this upward pinpoint pressure bends the frame. This is what happened to me on my rollback tow truck. After many hours and now double plating the frame all is well again, but a tremendous amount of work. Yes, the blocks are fine, but the result of installing this product resulted in a bent frame. The vehicle was not overloaded and was within the GVWR.

Product is high quality, all parts fit well and I didn’t have to force anything. High strength thick steel, and the jounce bumpers are seriously heavy duty. I haven’t had a load on the truck (98 Ram 3500) since install a few days ago, so they haven’t touched the base plates yet. One thing I’m concerned with is the jounce bumpers are touching and are right up against the lift blocks and U bolts. I’m unsure of the longevity these bumpers will have after a heavy load is on them and they are constantly rubbing on the hardware. Also, as the load gets heavier they expand outward as they flatten out so I’m also concerned with if that will push my lift blocks outward and mess with the suspension. I’m prepping for a slide in camper and when I get it I will have to take a look and see what effects that weight has on the suspension, the bumpers, and ride quality.

First, this is the third truck have have put Timbren SES on, so I am a big fan of this option for a pickup truck. There is no impact to the ride when the bed is empty, when loaded it is a big improvement keeping the truck is a level position, reduced sway.. I would have given this 5 stars, except the lower bracket is rusting. All the other parts are painted black except this one part - see picture... This is after one year, truck is parked in a garage in NC (not a high snow/salt state)...

Installed on 98 Ram 3500 pickup. Haven't put a load on it yet, but it installed very easily and fits well. Driver's side spring brackets were a bit harder to install than the passenger side, but still overall easy. One con was the powder coat finish was worn off in spots right after opening the box. Not sure if the packaging is to blame or what, but in general the packaging never seems to be that great on the etrailer products I've ordered (just brown packing paper).

Highly recommend for anyone towing. Leaf springs were flattened out prior to install. Swapped the bump stops out for Timbrens in a campground before making a 1000+ mile trip home. They work amazing leveled the truck out while towing and absorb the bad bumps.

I have a 2018 GMC Sierra 1500 pick up truck (elevation package) in which I added a 3.5 inch ROUGH COUNTRY KNUCKLE LIFT KIT with Front Struts. The rear distance between the bump stop's metal cup just under the frame and the the rear axle is 8.25 inches with an empty truck bed and a quarter tank of gas. I gave the professional this information on my truck and what I needed; they e mailed back the kit with only 1.5 additional spacers on each side of the truck, Ok. I still came up with 2.25 inch space with an empty truck bed on both sides. I feel More TIMBREN PRODUCTS WOULD be SOLD if websites carried information All together for the average people to buy at their finger tips. It would have been easier for me if the following were all grouped together for my truck : TIMBREN Rear Suspension Enhancement System TGMRCK15S (that has 3/8 bushing) which is actual about 4.5 inches not 5inches in height. FOR TRUCKS with LIFT KITS spacers are required with the same 3/8 bushings 1 inch spacer (that has 3/8 bushing) A25723-90AHOO 1/2 inch spacer (that has a 3/8 bushing) TA25722-90POO I required an additional 1 inch spacer on both sides than I was e mailed. It would also be easier if I could buy the additional bolts grouped with my additional 2.5 spacing on both sides of my truck on the web site, than going to the hardware store. I would pay the additional cost. So all together for my 3.5 ROUGH COUNTRY LIFT, I required 2.5 inch spacers on both sides with the 4.5 height kit which = 7 inches . I haul my 4 wheeler in the bed and broke a level spring years ago. On other occasions I place fire wood in the truck bed. TIMBREN is the way to go, it will be there when I put weight in the bed of truck; be it a 4 wheeler or wood. Friends of mine have air bag systems that leak over time and are much more in price. You can not go wrong with TIMBREN. When installing, remove salt and sand near top of original bump stop bolt, apply PB blast wait 10 minutes use a breaker bar with easy removal. Go to the hardware store to get longer bolts. When installing have to jack up the back of the truck under the towing package to get space to use tools to add new TIMBREN PRODUCTS.

I was very impressed with the easy installation and the performance of the product. I can easily put a 1 yard of top soil in my Ram 1500 and my truck carry it level , no problem. No more snag In the rear. I also find towing a trailer much better. No worries about blowing air bags, this product is maintenance free. Love it, it simple and it works great. Highly recommend

This Rear Suspension Enhancement kit were so easy to install, I was almost sure I missed something. They installed in less than an hour. I was able to place my floor jack under the ball mount to raise the rear end enough to remove the old mounts and simply install the new ones. Hooked up my 28' rv to my Silverado 1500 and they worked as advertised. No front end sag and I feel safer towing it. Customer service helped me find the right product I needed without dishing out a lot of cash!

Never mess with airbags again on your truck. These Timbren bump stops are the only way to go. Installation took a total of 10 minutes and they work amazing. No messing with airlines, filling or deflating air bags with complicated installation. I’m towing a 44ft trailer and these Timbren bumps stops are a must. Great product but a little pricey for what they are.
Review from a similar Timbren Aeon Spring System in Vehicle Suspension
I really like these Timbren bump stops. I think the best thing about them is the simplicity, both how they work and how easy the install was. I bought these when I added a dump insert (similar to a salt spreader) into my 2019 F-250. I have loaded this truck heavy before with dirt and the truck sagged tremendously and had a lot of body roll. To prevent this with the now added dump insert, I installed these. Super easy to install! Took maybe 30 min. It reduces body roll and seems to improve the ride depending on how loaded the truck is. One unfortunate consequence to the install is that the Timbrens brought to light that I have a weak leaf spring on my passenger side, which was suspect previously. Overall, I'm very pleased with this purchase and would buy again!

I just installed the Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System on my 2019 Ford F-150 4x4. The install was pretty straight forward, but I will say that the written instructions were pretty vague. Reviewing the Video on the e-trailer site was helpful. Also the markings for Left and Right could be improved. The marking “L” was very small and baring readable and the “R” appeared to be under some scratch marks so it was not legible at all. I think this product will help considerably. I have attached photos. The clearance between the rubber spring and the bottom plate is approx 1”. I also previously installed the Equalizer weight distribution & 4 way anti sway system to tow my 30’ Travel Trailer. The Timbren is to prevent any slight squat may occur.
