The flush design keeps the crossbars tight to the roofline, giving your setup a clean, from-the-factory look. Nothing sticks out past the feet, so everything stays streamlined and low profile. The WingBar Edge blends in so well that it looks built-in rather than added on. It’s a simple upgrade that keeps things neat without extra bulk.
The WingBar Edge uses an aero-style profile to help reduce wind noise and drag when you’re on the highway. Built-in split rubber strips fill the top channels to smooth airflow and cut down on vibration and whistling. You get a quieter, more relaxed drive without needing to crank up the stereo or add makeshift fixes.
Whether it’s kayaks in summer, skis in winter, or a cargo box for a long road trip, these bars are ready to carry your favorite gear. The top channels let you slide channel-mounted accessories right into place, while the shape also accepts clamp-on mounts. That flexibility means you can keep using the carriers you already have or easily add new ones later.
Some racks make you cut rubber strips before mounting accessories. The split strip design here saves time by letting you slide accessories into the channels without trimming anything. Once installed, the strips close back around the mounts to help keep out wind and water and maintain that quiet ride.
You can add Thule One-Key System locks (sold separately) to secure both the rack and any channel-mount accessories. It’s an easy way to protect your gear when parked overnight or leaving your vehicle at the trailhead.

What a great experience! I spoke or corresponded several times with representatives about technical or ordering issues, and they were uniformly very helpful and courteous. They matched a small difference in price from another vendor and were really helpful in making the decision about what to buy. The Thule items are really high quality and, in spite of instructions that would make Ikea embarrassed, weren't difficult to assemble and install. (I recommend checking for relevant videos online.) I give etrailer.com and the parts an unqualified 5-star rating. One of my best online experiences ever.
every thing worked perfectly and was easy to install. used it to go paddle boarding the very next day.
For XXX bucks I thought it would include the keys. Not plastic plugs. Instructions say it should have key. They even talk about how to store the key. My advice to anyone is buy it directly from dealer.

We bought a new vehicle that we already had several Thule accessories for. Purchased the fit kit for our Tahoe along with the Flush Rail feet and they fit perfectly.
Originally ordered a Yakima system, but availability everywhere was virtually nil. Switched to Thule and ran into some of the same shortages with the supply chain, likely due to Covid. Took about a week to receive and it was the perfect part for my BMW X3.
E trailer had this Thule part necessary to put a rack on our new car, even when our local stores were not able to help us. We had a successful fall canoe trip, thank to them!

Initially I was worried that I good not get a good Roof Rack configuration to match my 2022 Kia Telluride. When I asked etrailer for some assistance on the configuration, Jon was quick to reply with an excellent solution. He definitely knew the products. Unfortunately, my initial shipment was damaged but Gwen and team quickly got me replacements in the mail. I have received and installed all components and couldn't be more satisfied.
Thule products are not the cheapest but they are just so well engineered it brings a smile to your face every time you assemble them. I have 7 year old aero blade bars and bought these foot packs (and fit kit) for a new car. Taking off the old feet off the bars was flawless - every part, whether plastic, rubber or metal is still perfect after 7 years of use and shed storage.
Etrailer were fabulous as usual - initial phone consultation to confirm feet will fit the old bars and then quick online ordering etc.

I just wanted to take a minute to thank Carol C for driving amazing customer service! I ordered a Thule rack system, and the Thule cross bars arrived with the packaging torn partially open, causing some of the cross bar end caps to be lost in transit. Worth noting, the cross bars were in Thule's original packaging, so this was in no way the fault of etrailer. Despite this being a Thule issue, Carol C sent me a new pack of end caps, which I really appreciate...Thanks!

Their order tracking system is also very good. I’m very pleased with the Thule Wingbar Evo 135 racks For my BMW X5 with flush roof rails. They are super sturdy, solidly mounted and look good on the vehicle. Mine will be mainly used for surfboards and SUP’s. The assembly and installation was a breeze. The included written instructions would have been sufficient for a seamless installation but I also watched one of many YouTube videos that demonstrated very clearly every step of assembly and installation for this specific set of racks.
