SnowPack 4 Skis or 2 Boards

The Thule SnowPack lets you carry up to 4 pairs of skis or 2 snowboards on the roof of your vehicle. The low-profile carrier adjusts to the size of your skis and snowboards to reduce the height of the rack, and it installs quickly and easily with the SpeedLink mounting system. 2 sets of T-track extensions let you raise the carrier to accommodate skis and boards with tall bindings. And large push-button releases make it easy to load and unload, even with gloves on.

Vertical Spring System

Vertical Spring System

The SnowPack's smart vertical spring system gives the carrier a low profile and improves aerodynamics. The spring system adjusts to the thickness of the skis or snowboards you're loading and only raises the top of the carrier as high as needed to secure your gear. Similarly, when unloaded the spring system compresses to reduce the overall carrier height.

Ultra-Soft Rubber Liner

The spring system is made of an ultra-soft rubber that secures your skis and snowboards in place. The rubber lines the top and bottom of the arms and protects your gear from being scratched or scuffed by the carrier.

SpeedLink Mounting System

SpeedLink Mounting System

The carrier installs with the SpeedLink universal mounting system. Simply set the carrier on top of your crossbars and run the stainless steel straps under them. Then hook the straps onto the brackets on the other side of the mounting assembly and tighten them down with the turn knob.

2 Sets of Raisers

T-Track Raisers

The SnowPack comes with 2 sets of T-track raisers to protect your roof from skis or snowboards with tall bindings. To install, slide the channel bolts into your crossbar's T-track and snap the raisers onto the bottom of the carrier. Then set the carrier on your crossbars, running the channel bolts up through the holes in the raisers. Lastly, remove the pad inside the carrier and then tighten the cam levers to the channel bolts and throw the cam levers.

2 Sets of Raisers

The 2 sets of raisers can be used individually or together, depending on the size of the gear you're transporting.

Oversized Push-Buttons

Oversized Push-Buttons

The carrier opens with oversized push-buttons on the end of each arm. The large buttons release with a natural upward motion, so they're easy to operate even while wearing heavy, winter gloves.

One-Key Security

One-Key Security

The SnowPack comes equipped with Thule's One-Key System. The locks in the carrier's arms and the SpeedLink mounting assembly are all keyed alike, so you'll only have to keep track of one key. One-Key System lock cylinders can be swapped out to make all of your Thule gear keyed alike.

  • Can I Mount The Thule SnowPack On Subaru Outback Factory Roof Rack With Thule Roof Top Bike Carrier?
The SnowPack is going to be perfect for you. To start off, the Thule SnowPack # TH7324 is a confirmed fit on your Subaru's factory cross bars; Thule really does a great job at making sure that a lot of their roof rack accessories will fit a variety of crossbars and the bars on your Subaru are compatible. Next, the Thule SnowPack can be mounted anywhere on the bars and its' compact design is actually meant to allow you to mount other roof mounted accessories like cargo boxes, or in your...

You need the Thule One-Key System Lock Cylinders which are available in a quantity of four # TH450400, six # TH450600 or eight # TH450800. The Universal Change Key for Thule Locks # 853-1251...

  • Roof Rack Recommendation for a 2015 Ford Edge with Flush Rails
If you really want to be able to install a roof rack on the 2015 Ford Edge you end up buying you will need to buy one without the glass roof option as there are no racks that we offer that would fit that configuration. Get the flush rail configuration if you can and then go with the Thule Aeroblade Edge Rack that consists of part numbers # TH7602B-TH7603B and # THKIT4047. This is an excellent rack that would work and fit well. For a ski carrier the part # TH7324 would be a great option...

  • Will The Replacement 13 mm SpeedLink Assembly 7521241001 Fit My Aftermarket Crossbars?
The Replacement 13 mm SpeedLink Mounting Hardware Assembly # 7521241001 will indeed be a good fit for your crossbars. The straps on this adapter are made to be universal, and are known to fit crossbars like the Thule Wingbars, which are about 79 mm wide and 25 mm tall. So it will certainly be large enough to fit your 64 mm wide 21 mm thick crossbars. The # TH7520970001 that you mentioned will fit your crossbars as well, but the SpeedLink assemblies will be much easier to work with, and...

  • Will the SpeedLink Mounting Hardware Thule Work on my Thule Diaginal Ski Rack
I reached out to my contact at Thule to see if there is a solution available to attach the Replacement 13 mm SpeedLink Mounting Hardware Assembly for Thule SnowPack Ski and Snowboard Carrier part # 7521241001 and unfortunately they don't have another option available for the older style ski racks. There would be no way of attaching it to the base of your older carrier without customization which would be a safety issue because it would no longer be a manufacturer certified product. As...

  • Why are There Different Length Thule Snowpack Speed Links Available
I would agree that listing what the mm length on the SpeedLink mounting hardware assemblies represents would be more helpful. As far as picking out the correct one goes that comes down to what rack you have as they are not interchangeable. For example the Snowpack M # TH7324 uses the 20 mm option which is the part # 7521241002 that you referenced. If you have a different rack let me know and I'll see which one is correct for you.

  • Will Thule Flat Top Ski Carrier Fit on Square Bars?
It really depends in the dimensions of the bars. For the Thule AirScreen XT Fairing # TH82WV it simply clips around bars and is a universal fit, so there should be no issue there. The Thule Flat Top was replaced by the Thule SnowPack Ski and Snowboard Carrier # TH7324, so when you're ready to upgrade, these are the ones to upgrade to. As for compatibility of your Thule Flat Top Ski Rack when using the mounting kit # 7533998, this fits crossbars up to 1-1/8" tall x 3-3/4" wide. If your...

Correct, there is not a locking deterrent to your roof rack for the Kuat Switch 4 Ski and Snowboard Carrier - 4 Pairs of Skis or 2 Boards # KU94FR. The Switch does have a lock for the skis/boards as they are in the carrier, but not for the rack itself. This does fit your Malone aero roof rack, but if you want a ski carrier that locks to your roof rack, you would need either the Kuat Grip Ski and Snowboard Carrier # GRR4B or Thule SnowPack Ski and Snowboard Carrier # TH7324. • How to Mount Thule Ski Rack on Factory Crossbars on 2015 Subaru Outback Wagon

Thule's SnowPack # TH7324 ski carrier, for example, can fit these various types of roof crossbars. This flexibility makes this a great choice if multiple vehicles will carry your ski gear.
