The BMW X3 first year of production was 2003. From 2003 to 2010 the X3 either had factory crossbars with side rails or just side rails so it would not use a fit kit or any kind of foot pack. It would instead use the Evo raised rail feet # TH710401 and 43 inch SquareBars # TH712100.

The 2011 to present models could have either a normal roof or flush side rails. If it has a normal roof then there are no Thule roof rack fit kit options that will fit. But if it has the flush side rails then fit kit # TH186007 is the correct kit. You also need the Evo Flush foot pack # TH710601 and the 47 inch SquareBars # TH712200 or aero bars # TH711220.
