When you’re hauling heavier gear like rooftop tents, kayaks, or conduit cases, the Rhino-Rack Heavy-Duty bars give you the strength you need. Each of the two 54-inch crossbars is built from structural-grade, extruded aluminum for durability and maximum carrying capability. With a 220-lb weight capacity (always check your roof’s limit), these square black bars support serious gear without flexing or wobbling.
Once the bases are installed in the included 63-inch tracks, adding or removing the rack is quick and simple. The Quick Mount legs feature internal triggers that let you install or remove the bars without tools—just squeeze to release or slide to lock them in place. Pivoting bases adjust up to 33 degrees so you can level your crossbars on uneven surfaces, and locking covers secure everything once mounted.
The included RTC-style tracks mount permanently with T-bolts for a rock-solid setup. Built from stainless steel with an anti-corrosion coating, they stand up to years of sun, salt, and rain. Endcaps finish off the look while molded inserts keep dirt out when the legs are removed, maintaining a clean roofline even when the rack isn’t in use.
The top of each heavy-duty bar includes a C-channel that accepts Rhino-Rack Heavy-Duty accessories and carriers. Rubber strips in the channels help cushion your load and reduce slipping—ideal for mounting ladders, kayak cradles, or cargo platforms. If needed, the tracks can even be cut to length to fit your setup and make room for additional gear.
Once installed, this system stays ready for any trip. The permanently mounted tracks on your hard tonneau or camper shell let you slide the crossbars to fit different sized loads. Easy install. Instructions were clear and pictures were helpful. Install time by myself was 3 hours without beer. Well built racks. If it’s going on a truck topper I recommend to remove the top. I couldn’t imagine installing this well it was on the bed of the truck. Box was really damaged in shipping but all the parts were there with no scratches, that’s a win. Slight whistle at 30-40 mph but nothing after that. ‘08 Tundra with Snug Top Shell.
Service team at etrailer.com is great to work with. Had some issues but all got quickly resolved. Once all parts were delivered the installation went well. I cut the tracks to install on my DB - gives me flexibility for bed access and future storage capability. Also added additional HD cross bars.
The shipping was fast and the install went well. If you are going to install this yourself I recommend that you are somewhat handy and have some experience drilling holes and such. If you have headliner inside your cap make sure you reverse the drill bit direction as you start to get through the fiberglass and push through the liner, this will keep the drill bit from catching the fabric and winding it up, so.. push through the fabric in reverse. The Rhino Rack feels very sturdy and has more than enough room for my 2 kayaks to sit side by side. I took an hour test ride with the kayaks loaded including time on the interstate and I feel that everything is rock solid. I’m very happy with this system.
Let's start with the site. I ordeed this product on Tuesday morning got it Thursday evening. Nice!!
Now the rack it self, its strong, feels strong looks strong. Crossover bars lock and are adjustable. Cone nuts from lowes work for additional mounting of items. Atm i have mine mounted holding my soft rtt and full awning tht doubles as campiste room holds it all absolute no issues

Rhino rack makes great product. I will do everything I need. etrailer is not the best. Product showed up 15 days after projected delivery date. Nobody at etrailer or shipping co knew anything about it. If I had to do it over would find another supplier for rhino rack
Great product! Well built, only thing I would change is the T-bolts for the track could be 1/4 inch longer.
Installation was fairly straightforward, however there should be end caps to go on the crossbars.

Took way too long to arrive, when it did arrive it was just the mount and didn’t have any of the crossbars or hardware. Sent back for a refund but still haven’t received it, and they are going to deduct 38 dollars for return shipping even though they sent me an incomplete product.
