When you’re hauling serious gear, you want bars that don’t flex or give. These 54" heavy-duty crossbars are built from structural-grade, extruded aluminum for maximum strength and durability. They hold up to 220 lbs but are still lightweight enough to handle easily. Whether you’re loading ladders, conduit cases, or work gear, this setup gives you solid support that’s ready for long trips and rough roads.

No tools, no hassle. The Quick Mount legs use an internal trigger system that lets you snap the bars on and off in seconds. Once the bases are installed in the tracks, they stay put—just squeeze the triggers to release the legs when it’s time to remove them or slide them apart to lock them down again. Pivoting bases give you 33 degrees of adjustment to level your setup, and molded inserts keep the bases clean when the bars aren’t installed.

If you already have Thule or Yakima tracks in place, these bars drop right in. The glass-reinforced nylon legs mount directly into the channels, creating a strong anchor point for your crossbars. Once mounted, you can slide the bars along the tracks to fine-tune spacing for different gear setups. It’s an easy way to get a professional-grade rack without starting from scratch.

Each crossbar has a built-in C-channel on top that accepts Rhino-Rack Heavy-Duty accessories and carriers. Rubber strips line the channels to protect your load and prevent slipping while cushioning against vibration. You can even cut the bars if needed to make room for certain track-mounted gear. It’s a flexible setup that lets you confidently carry everything from kayak carriers to load stops.
Once you’ve got everything positioned where you want it, lock it in place. The leg covers include locks that secure the system to your roof so your gear stays safe when parked. With the covers snapped on and locked, the rack looks clean and finished while keeping your investment protected wherever you stop along the way.

I am extremely satisfied with my experience on etrailer.com. The order shipped fast, was delivered in a week which seemed fast for a large box, and all the components I needed were included in the box. This is a great service at a really good price. After looking at the Thule options it was going to be $xxx+ for locking racks. These compatible Rhino Rack HD can handle more weight, have locks included, and were significantly less money. I look forward to getting some J style kayak carriers for my next purchase. I’ve already recommended this website to my friends.
After significant research I chose this Rhino Rack package for my 2016 F150 with ARE top and Yak tracks. The options I considered were the Rhino Rack and the Yakima set up. I wanted a heavy bar so this fit the bill and the etrailer complete package was great rather than trying to piece together the correct components. Additionally the cost was quite a bit better then the Yakima and came with the locks. Package came with all components. Included was the hardware for the Rhino Rack tracks, Thule tracks, and the Yakima tracks as listed. Installation was rather straight forward. I'm pleased with the 59" bars and will include a picture. They extended pass the top of the cap but not out to the base, maybe a third to half way out to the base from the top. Very pleased with the decision to get this package to travel with kayaks.
The rack more than exceeded my expectations. It was easy to assemble and mount on the cap of my Tacoma truck. I was pleasantly surprised by the aerodynamics which virtually eliminate wind noise, even at highway speed. I pirchased the rack as a permanent mount for a 4rod flyrod holder which I use daily for fishing. The Rhino keeps everything “tight and right”. It has worked perfectly for nearly three hundred trips and over 15,000 miles this year.
Attached these to Yakima tracks on my pickup copper. Loaded our two 13’ kayaks on them last weekend. Worked great, easy to install. It was missing a couple parts, I reached out to etrailer with what parts were missing and they came in the mail yesterday. Excellent customer service and very satisfied with the product.
Everything went together well. Instructions simple enough. My kit did not have the grommets that go into the track foot that mounts to the track, but that's not a big deal, just a way to keep them quiet, i guess.... and maybe they aren't in the latest version. The racks feel solid enough, but time will tell. Replacing another brand that came with my Leer shell. These will be put the test hauling surfboards and kayaks all over the Texas coast.
Rhino Rack is a good strong product. However the Rhino Feet attachment to the Thule track rails did not fit as advertised. The Rhino feet attachment plates had to be ground down to fit inside the Thule track rail channels. Everyone of them. Not a big deal, as i have a bench grinder. I would estimate that the Rhino plates were at least a full .020" of an inch too large to fit in the channel. (see pictures) The rest of the install was a snap, in my opinion the Rhino directions were lacking enough detail. Some trial and error was needed as is common with most items that require some assembly. Completed install is good looking and super functional.
The Rhino Rack HD crossbar kit for tracks fits my SyneticUSA Pro retractable cover perfectly. RR includes several track nuts of different sizes to match to your particular track. I love the quick detach capability of the towers and that they also lock for security. The HD bars are essentially the same dimension of 1 5/8" unistrut/superstrut so you can find all sorts of attachment hardware outside of what RR makes. This makes it easy to securely bolt your gear down to the cross bars and customize with easy to find hardware at your local home depot. The 65" HD bars are perfect for a mid size truck like my Tacoma.
I have flush mount rails, not tracks. This setup does not work for my 2025 Chevy Trailblazer like it says it did
Speedy delivery , excellent product
Great product just what I needed
Great rack.
Very well made.
Super helpful service! Highly recommend buying from these folks.
Installation was a breeze,
Good afternoon. I attempted to put the product on without the plastic pieces, but it’s the wrong product for my car ever though it says it’s for the 2019 4 runner. How do I go about doing a swap for the piece that actually fits my car. Is there a direct number I can call? Also attached are the pictures of how the brackets can’t possibly work.
Thank you,
Received the package in good shape. It had everything I needed to complete the installation on the Thule rails pre-installed on my Leer canopy. The installation took less than an hour to complete. I am very happy with the quality of the components on the Rhino Rack.
It is a great product as I am a repeat offender. The racks were on in under an hour after I deciphered the instructions. It’s understandable you cannot create instructions for every possible combination of products so I had to match everything up. It was all very straightforward. Pictured is Rhino Rack HD square bars on Yakima rails on ARE topper all on a 2018 GMC Canyon.
Very happy with my choice of the Rhino Rack heavy duty crossbars!
They detach and re-attach with ease and look to be very capable of handling any load required.
Great customer services and knowledgeable friendly folks etrailer.com too I should add.
Would definitely use them again!
Great customer service finding the correct product
was missing track leg grommets (4) for track legs. Called JoshuaB and he has contacted Rhino Rack to replace grommets. Item #13 on master manual parts list. Packing split on box during delivery and looked as if limited tape where two boxes connected. Packing issue, maybe, or usps issue.
