Hi everyone, Steve here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at our Camco RV Drain Trap for 3/4-inch diameter drain hoses. So folks, this is a nice, compact design. It's gonna be great for spaces with limited room. It'll fit under cabinets really nice and easily. And it's made of a nice chemical-resistant polypropylene, so it's heavy duty and it's gonna ensure durability and prevent rusting because it's polypropylene, not metal.
You have a 1 3/4-inch threaded inlet, so that's gonna connect to your RV sinks. And then you have a 3/4-inch diameter, here. Your 3/4-inch diameter hose, rather, will fit over that. Now, this is compatible with your standard RV and camper drain hoses. It's very simple to install, and maybe it's gonna be great for if you have, like, a DIY project, maybe, like, a camper van build or something where you need to focus on space efficiency.
This could be a great option for you as well. Well folks, that is gonna wrap it up for our look together. I'm Steven. Thanks for watching.
The order came as it should.
The only regret is that is too big for the sink drain pipe.
Just what I needed for a small sink in our truckbed camper. Easy to install leak free pairing with a sink strainer also purchesed here
This Drain trap is exactly what I was looking for to replace the one on my sailboat.
This is going to replace the standard trap that was installed in my van. The current trap works fine but the is too much plumbing taking up valuable under sink volume.
Quick delivery.
I have not installed them yet in my custom camper build (using 3) but I was amazed when I got them how compact they were and how ideal they will be for conserving space under cabinets. I am also installing deep basket strainers in my kitchen sink and shower to keep as much particulate debris out of the trap and pipe. I am using 3/4" rubber 'heater hose' to plumb with will be far easier and, IMHO, completely adequate. It's technically for an outside gravity drain (not regulated by code?) which doesn't really need a trap but I'm using them everywhere. RV manufacturers (I used to be an engineer for one) have to follow IAPMO/UPC codes because they are building 'mobile houses' which would prevent them from being able to comply with code (too small pipe size) to use these but I think they are IDEAL for DIY'ers who want something better (as long as you take into account the limitations of smaller waste pipe).
Sorry for the delay. This part fit perfectly. I have not completed my camper build yet so I have not installed the plumbing but this is exactly what I needed. Thank you again for wonderful products. Soon I will need some camper jacks and I will use you as a source. Not sure yet which size I will need.

So far it has been just fine. I love the fact it uses little extra space.
They are not for 2-1/2” drainage not more. The production was different . It could be defective or they did a mistake in the diameter when they made it but you can measure it or try with a simple bar drain of 2-1/2”.

I have confirmed that the threaded portion for connection to your RV sink measures 1-3/4-inches in diameter at the threads. The overall diameter of the mounting flange is 2-5/8-inches. If you are needing a drain trap to fit on a 2-1/2-inch drain, then you may need to search locally. Unfortunately, we do not have drain traps that will fit that measurement. I will send you the return instructions via your email.
About 80% of them leaked at the gasket seal. It also drains extremely slowly with a grey water tank.

I used this for a sink trap in my camper van build. Works great. I even had a freezing incident that broke several of my valves but this trap was unaffected. Saves space over traditional P trap.
This product is exactly what I was looking for at a fair price! Fast shipping makes it even better! Thank Etrailer!
Works awesome for the little space I had in my custom camper for my shower. Be sure to use Teflon tape or liquid tape when installing!
Great price and fast shipping. Best prices I found anywhere
Drain trap worked great to replace the old broken trap on our 1990 Starcraft tent trailer.
Replaced older 2003 drain trap on Viking Epic 1906ST. Older trap had a screw in the base which had rusted out and caused the unit to leak. New product does not have the screw. New drain fits perfectly and works as designed. No issues.
It arrived in two days and was a direct replacement for the thirty year old original. Very satisfactory. Thank you

Working great. I have some occasional sewer smells after driving but I think its related to my gray tank vent and just made some changes to that...
