Jeff Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this UniGuard Waterless P-Trap for the RV sewer systems. It's a 1 1/2 inch diameter FPT fitting. Now, this will include UniGuard waste valve, the 1 1/2 inch FPT swivel elbow, and then the straight slip adapter. Now, this kit will replace your RV sewer system's smelly P-trap with this nice UniGuard waterless one-way drain valve. This will work great as a replacement for the standard P-trap that's in your RV sink, shower, bathtub, washing machine discharge, or even your dishwasher.

If you noticed something inside of this valve here, it has this self-sealing silicone rubber bladder, which will guard against the escape of any foul odors, it also avoids the risk of evaporation or cracking. That silicone bladder will open under water pressure of a draining fixture, and then it closes to form a nice tight odor proof seal after the water drains. The inner retaining guard keeps the silicone seal from inverting in case of backflow. Now, this can be used in either a horizontal or vertical application, so it is ideal for installation in tight spaces on your RV, gives you 30% more compact than other waterless drain valves. So you can see with this fitting, you can actually run it as a horizontal application, and with this fitting, you could run it as a vertical application.

It does use Leak-free NPS standard threads, and it is a sturdy ABS plastic construction. You can see the parts are all a nice white color, they are made in the USA, does come with all the washers you need to make your connection. Few specs on this, again, we mentioned the diameter is 1 1/2 inches, the connection size is 1 1/2 inches FPT. Now, one note I do wanna mention, this is not intended to use as a backflow preventer. But that should do it for the review on the UniGuard Waterless P-Trap for the RV sewer systems..
