The URL's you posted are for the same item so I'm assuming you meant to reference the Camco RV Drain Trap for 3/4" Diameter Drain Hose # CAM37262 and the Exterior Evacuation Drain Trap # 37295195.

Both of these drain traps are exactly the same with a standard 3/4" MPT water hose connection and 1-3/4" standard strainer connection. The only difference between the two is just the brand.

Do both of these drains prevent odors from coming back up from the tank?

@JohnN Yes, the top portion of these drains has a small opening that lowers down into the lower portion so that it's below the barbed fitting, allowing water in the lower portion to form a seal and prevent odors from backing up the sink drain. These are meant to drain directly out of the RV and not into a tank. It's a very small hole and drain line so they drain a lot slower than a standard P-Trap # LSB76XR and are more so intended for small use sinks like you'd have in a truck bed camper. If you're draining to a tank I would use a P-Trap for more efficient draining.
