Twist-on adapter converts your black-water tank valve into a hook-up for a gray-water waste hose. 3/4" Female NPT ends threads onto gray-water hose. Plug prevents drips when hose is not connected. Raised grip makes it easy to rotate on and off.

Today we're going to be taking a look at the Valterra Gray Water Drain Adapter for RVs. What you'd do is you would install this on the valve for your gray water sewer tank, and then you can drain that tank by using a 0.5 inch or 5/8 inch diameter waste water hose. Instead of using your typical or standard 3 inch diameter sewer hose, you can use a 5/8 inch or 0.5 inch diameter waste water hose. This will attach to your Bayonet style sewer fitting. It's going to have an outer diameter, from this point here to this point here, of 3.5 inches, so it is designed for your standard fitting. At this point here, it will accept your standard 3/4 inch garden hose connection. You put your garden hose in there.
You got the threaded connector there. You thread that on for a nice, tight, secure fit. It's also going to include the plug so when it's not being used, you can keep that shut. That's held on there with a tether so you don't ever have to worry about misplacing that or losing that. It's also got a nice thumb grip design right here, so that way you can easily install it or remove this from the valve.
It's a nice durable construction. It's going to be black in color. That's going to do it for today's look at the Valterra Gray Water Drain Adapter for RVs.

The fittings have worked great. The one thing I find challenging with other products like this if finding the correct replacement gaskets. Your fittings and replacement parts are the exception.
I used it for a time, but I found that the gray water backed up into the drain. I also found that gnats liked the gray water. Which caused way too many gnats in the vicinity of the travel trailer. It was easier for me to just use the dump station rather than let gray water out onto the ground.
This cap is an exact fit for the combo black/gray tank drains. Now I can connect a old hose to this cap and allow the gray water to drain when we are in an area that it is allowed.
Good product and good pricing. Staff was responsive and respecful. I will be using ETrailer again.
