Ellen: Hey everyone. I'm Ellen 00:00:02 here at etrailer.com. So today we're taking a look at the JR Products sink strainer with push-in baskets, or basket. Just one. So this is going to be a replacement or an upgrade for your existing RV sink and strainer. So pretty much this just goes in your kitchen.
This is going to be your sink. This is going to be the strainer, so it keeps out any food waste from getting down into the pipes and clogging things up. And then you can easily take this out, pop all that nastiness into the trash, and then keep the water flowing in your sink. Whenever you have it turned .. so those little rubber feet are kind of resting on top of that little x inside there, it's going to let the water flow through.
And then if you turn it to the side so it sinks down further, that's going to fill up the sink or block the water from going down and then help you fill up that sink with water so you can wash all your dishes. It operates pretty simply. It comes with the ring here to mount our other pipe fittings onto the bottom of the sink. So it has this kind of color there that's captured by this ring, and then will have this other ring nut to tighten that to our sink basin. It also comes with the rubber washer to make sure that everything stays nice and water tight, so we shouldn't have any issues there. So we'll have our plastic gasket and then our also .. well, this is going to be the plastic gasket and then we'll also have a foam gasket, which is really more like a rubber gasket.
And then the lock nut and slip nut, which is . this is going to be the slip nut and that's going to be the lock nut. This does fit into a two inch diameter drain opening. It is a die cast construction, so it's going to be a die cast steel, and pretty simple to operate, pretty simple to use, looks pretty nice. Should get you rolling with a sink full of water when you need it, and then flowing whenever you want that.
That's pretty much going to do it for our look at the JR Products sink strainer with push-in basket for two inch drain. If you need any other accessories for your RV or things like faucets, sinks, basins themselves and other stuff, we have a lot of options available here at etrailer.com, so be sure to check those out. Thanks for watching.
