Change out a failed RV brass check valve with this surface mounted city water inlet. The integrated inlet and valve are lead-free and have a 1/2" MPT water connection. Removable screen filter keeps debris out of your water system.

Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this B&B Black RV City Water Inlet. Now, this city water fill with check valve is going to replace a leaking or damaged valve on your RV. The check valve is going to prevent backflow into the city's system when under pressure, and this lead-free, brass is not going to rust or contaminate incoming water. And this removable screen right here, that's a little filter that's gonna be very easy to clean and replace. The cutout required for this is going to be 1 1/2 inches in diameter.
That rear water connection is a 1/2 an inch NPT, and let me see if I can show you the flange diameter. So, as you can see, we are sitting right at three inches on the flange, outer diameter. And then the depth, we are sitting right at about 1 11/16 inches on the valve depth. This grip collar is going to let you easily attach and detach your hose. This tethered plug is going to protect this fill point when it's not in use.
You just pop it into place just like that. And this is made here in the USA of corrosion-proof plastic. It's UV-stabilized plastic, so you're not gonna have to worry about this fading. It's gonna hold up really well against the elements. This does include the mounting hardware and butyl tape.

It fit perfectly
THIS is what should be installed in new campers to begin with!! Brass all the way through, the only plastic is to fasten to the camper and a grip that snaps onto a brass couple. This won't break and leave you stuck with no water! Highly recommend this product!!!

Easy to install and fit well where the old water inlet was. However, the plastic flange is way to flimsy and started to bend as soon as I attached my city water hose. Will not be buying any more B&B products.

Still works perfectly. Havent even given it a thought. The large knurled plastic knob extension makes turning the fitting very easy. The knurled knob is a slip fit over the fitting so I have pulled it off a few times by accident but it slides right back right into place so no biggie.

This is better than what I expected. The inlet I was replacing was all plastic and this one was solid brass. After replacing my inlet it worked great.
This works well as a replacement for the original on the trailer that was all plastic and stripped out pretty quickly. The brass will keep it from stripping out when connecting to a hose and it should last for the life of the trailer.

The valve is exactly as described and was super easy to install. It came with all of the pieces I needed and I was done in 10 mins. My only complaint is that it took 3 weeks to get to me after it was shipped out, but thats totally on the usps.
Perfect fit. Helpful that it includes new screws because the old ones had been mangled by a screwdriver wielding gorilla.

I replaced our old flange with this over a year ago and it's still working good. I would buy again.
I had my rv repair man install this on the side of my mobile grooming van so I can have a freshwater and let on the outside to make filling up quicker. This inlet is very good quality and was easy to install. I’m highly satisfied!

Sorry to hear that, Roger. I would have thought the pipe this fitting attached to would have held everything in place better. I will be forwarding your picture over to B&B Molders to see if they can maybe start doing something to strengthen this part. What did you install this on?
