We recommend this sturdy plastic vent because it helps keep water out of your camper' range hood exhaust, protecting your space from moisture damage. The 1-3/4" collar ensures a secure fit, and the lockable damper adds extra peace of mind.

Hi, everyone, Steven here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look together at our Ventline Exterior Wall Vent for your RV range hood. Now this uses a one and 11/16th inch collar in black. So zooming in here, you're gonna get this outside cover. And as you can see, it's got vents built into it. And then the actual vent itself is actually this piece here.
And then this can obviously vent open to allow that ventilation from the inside of the range out. So when you have this outside cover over it and you've got that fan running, it's actually gonna open up probably about that much. And then it's gonna allow for the ventilation to come out and vent out. So nice, hard, solid piece of plastic. This is a two piece here.
Everything here has been molded to be super strong and durable. It's gonna fit a 10 and 1/2 inch long by three and 3/4 inch tall rough opening. You're gonna want to get some sealant and screws sold separately to put around this whenever you push it into the hole on the install. And then whenever you pop this on the outside, it's gonna snap into place. I'm gonna leave it off for now, but it'll snap into place and then you'll be all set up, ready to go, keeping rain and mud and any kind of road debris out and bugs and all that stuff from, from being able to come in.
It's gonna keep all that blocked out. Now this again will attach to the outside wall where your existing ducting or outlets exist on the RVO trailer for that vent. So again, if you don't have the rough opening, you can cut a new hole. Just make sure you're measuring many, many times before you cut anything and check to make sure there's nothing inside the wall while you're making that cut. Now this also features a pivoting latch.
So it will let you lock the damper in the closed position. So down here on the bottom, you can pull that down and that will lock that damper in the closed position. So very nice feature. This is the Ventline Exterior Wall Vent for your RV range hood. I'm Steven. Thanks for watching.
