Spring-Loaded Handle on Ventline E-Z Lift Ventadome
The easy-to-use handle on the E-Z Lift Ventadome lets you quickly open and close the roof vent from inside your RV. Unlike a standard handle or knob that can take time to crank, the handle on this vent is spring loaded. Simply pull on the handle and move it into one of 10 positions to open the vent. Each position offers a different degree of opening, and the handle locks into place. Also, the handle's T-shape makes it easy to grip.
Integrated Mounting Points for Vent Cover
There are 4 mounting points built into the flange of this roof vent. These points allow you to install a vent cover (sold separately) over the roof vent.
Installation Instructions
Note: Interior trim piece (garnish) and installation kit with screws and sealant are sold separately.
- Mark desired location for vent. Be sure to choose a location between roof joists.
- Cut a 14-1/4" x 14-1/4" opening through roof and ceiling. (Or use existing opening if you're replacing a standard 14-1/4" x 14-1/4" vent.)
- Apply sealant to bottom of flange. Be sure to surround each screw hole.
- Insert vent through hole with screen frame extending through roof cavity and hinge of vent toward the front of the vehicle.
- Mount to roof with #8 screws.
- Remove screen frame to make electrical connections.
- Connect to 12-volt DC power source.
- Replace screen frame.
- Attach interior garnish piece with #8 screws.

Today we are going to be taking a look at part number V3094-601-00C. This is the Ventline E-Z Lift Vetadome Trailer Roof Vent. It's going to feature a 12 volt fan. We are going to have an aerodynamic wedge shape dome that is going to be made from a durable polypropylene construction. The dome is white in color and it's going to be translucent so it is going to allow a little bit of light through. Here on the bottom side, we are going to have a very easy to use handle. This is a T handle, it is going to control the opening and closing of the lid.
A little bit different design, typically you are going to have the hand dial that you're going to have to rotate. It takes a little bit longer to open. This is very quick and easy, you don't have to worry about any gears, and its faster to operate. Its going to offer ten locking positions to secure it in place, even when you're traveling. All you have to do is lift up on it, spring loaded design, rotate it and its fully open. Then you have all its positions in between that can allow you to adjust how much you want the lid open.
This is fully open, with it fully open you can see the internal components. You can see the fan, that's going to be an eight blade, white fan. You're going to see the wiring, you are also going to see it has the perimeter weather shield to help keep out the elements. Now we go ahead and close it all the way and that's going to be fully closed. It's going to butt up against that nice weather seal and create that seal that we are looking for to keep moisture and dirt and debris out. Now if dirt and debris get in there, we do have this snap out screen.
It can be easily removed to be cleaned or to be replaced if needed. That's a great feature to have, and again the T handle is spring loaded so as soon as you let go of it, it is going to go to whatever hold that the tab match up. You're also going to have your on and off switch to control the on and off function of the fan. On each side you're going to notice that it has two mounting tabs. This is for installation of a vent cover, vent covers are sold separately. It is also going to have the slots right here to accept the interior trim piece or garnish, that's going to be sold separately as well.
Now when it comes to the mounting flans that's going to measure a quarter of an inch thick, that's going to be UV resistant material. Very safe to install, you don't have to worry about any sharp edges. It's going to work well with all roof and materials, multiple mounting holes that goes around the entire perimeter of the vent for a nice secure installation. Your hardware is not included with this part number. When installing this, it is a good idea . We recommend using a weather resistant caulk or sealant to help create that nice tight seal to prevent moisture from getting inside your camper, RV, or enclosed trailer. This is designed for 14-1/4" x 14-1/4" rough openings. We'll take a look at the overall width here measuring from edge to edge, that's going to give us a measurement of about 16-1/2 inches. Square design, so it's going to measure the same going the other direction as well. Then you're going to have your three wire design, so you're going to have your white, black, and green. White and green are both going to be ground wires, black is going to be for power. The product is made right here in the USA but it is certified to be used in Canada as well. That's going to do it for today's look for part number V3094-601-00C.

Arrived quickly and in good condition. Was a little surprised there was no packing material at all around it in the box, but it was still in good condition. No instructions nor installation hardware provided, but pretty obvious how to install. Works great. Note that the interior trim kit is a separate product; I didn't order that. As others have said, I like the handle that allows for adjusting the lid position. I also ordered the "Dometic Ultra Breeze Trailer Roof Vent Cover - Black" cover to go over top of it, and it works great; its screw holes don't line up with the ones in the roof vent's mounting lip, but you just drill them where you need them.

This roof hatch has performed admirably and sustained storms (while left open even) that should have either flooded my trailer or ripped the cover off. Very content with my purchase and I won't hesitate buying additional equipment in the future.

Won't be adding power to it for a few months, fits like a glove on my 76 vw camper high top. The handle dosent like popping into full closed without being pushed upward so i don't know if the plastic teeth on the hight selector will wear out or break after several years of driving. I don't know how water resistant the fan motor is, i just get nervous when i see a metal cover on something that gets power and will get wet. Otherwise it looks pretty okay. I do like the solid spring loaded locking mechanism, it's pretty solid, and the handle looks stronger in person than in the pic, no worries about the springs not being able to keep the top locked into position. I plan on using it on a convention vehicle and there may be costumers so the handle profile might be an issue if you have super thick fingers or in costume.

It doesn't come with the interior trim piece or the hardware. You have to order everything separately. I didn't see the fine print at the bottom of the listing so now I either have to make a separate order for the interior piece, which is usually included, or i have to send the whole thing back. Totally Ridiculous.

- Replacement Fan Blade for an Elixir S545A3 Roof VentElixir is no long in business so replacement parts are extremely hard to find. I did some research online and was not able to locate a replacement fan blade that would work with the d-shaped shaft on your vent. Insead, the best option for you is really going to be to replace the entire assembly for which I recommend using the Ventline E-Z Lift Ventadome Trailer Roof Vent part # V3094-601-00C. This is currently the most cost effective option we have for you. It will fit the same 14-1/4"x14-1/4"...

Both of these (# V3094-601-00C & # V2094SP-28) roof vents are going to require the same mounting space (14-1/4" wide x 14-1/4" long), have similar 100 CFM 12V fans, and both units have manual lift dome designs.
