LED Lighting

LED Lighting

Whether you're hitting the restroom in the middle of the night, walking into the kitchen for a midnight snack, or just wanting to add a little flare to your roof vent, this LED light is the perfect night light or accent light for your RV's bathroom or kitchen. Pop it on any time with or without the fan running.

Rain Shield with Angled Louvers

Rain Shield and Louvers

Open and run your RV roof vent any time and in any weather. This one-of-a-kind rain shield fully surrounds and encloses the vent opening, so you never have to worry about pesky rainwater seeping in and damaging the interior of your RV. Its integrated angled louvers let odors, stale air, and moisture escape while allowing rainwater to run off. This solid design saves you time and money since there's no need to purchase and install a separate vent cover.

Not only does this roof vent defeat rainwater, but it protects against bugs and debris too. The vent has 2 different screens to ensure the inside of your RV is free of mosquitos and flies or remnants of leaves and loose bark from fallen tree branches. One screen is located behind the angled louvers and the other on the exterior vent opening - both remove easily for cleaning and maintenance.

Love the fan light combo plus it's just simple to use. We did not like the Maxxfan Deluxe that fell off on vaction someplace in Wyoming it had two many oppositions and would turn on and off for no reason.
Installation was ok but had to make some modifications fiberglass in only 1/2 inch thick and had to buy different fasteners.
Over all love it big inprovement.

1 year later still love this fanlight. Easy to install simple to use thats what I wanted and that was the way I like thing to go. People think they need a fan that has 20 functions on it but they realy do not half the time a person can not find the remote to use it. Just buy this falight you will be vary happy.

After a few uses the switch does not work properly. One position the light and fan come on and one position just the light. After a few uses the light now “flickers”
I’ve removed it and rechecked the soldered connections and they are fine.

Hey Ed! I reached out to the manufacturer to try and get some helpful info for you. The first line of business is to locate the serial and model number. To locate the serial number, you will remove the round bug screen from the fan. There is four twist tabs holding the screen up. You will turn the tabs halfway and the screen will come down. You will then see a small white sticker in one of the corners with a model and serial number. Let me know what you find and Ill send it along to the manufacturer.

by:

Works as advertised. Perhaps more suction. That's all. A bit difficult to install on the top of an old Airstream but I managed.

by:

We selected this vent for its compact size and integrated rain shield, since there was not sufficient room between roof-mounted solar panels to install a fixed cover over our MaxxAir fan. The built-in ring light is nice. Unfortunately, this fan has delivered very poor air flow for us. I believe this is a result of: 1) a small diameter fan blade; and 2) limited vent area due to its low-profile design. We'll likely rip this unit out.

by:

So far so good. It lets very little light through from outside, in the main living space I would like this, as I have kids who are still at the napping age. in the bathroom I don’t like it so much. Other than that it appears to be well made.
Installation was a pain, but no fault of this unit. The old butyl tape was a lot of work to get off the roof.

Still works as intended

by:

Just finished installing two of these vent units in a small travel trailer. The original arrangement did not include fans. These fan vents will reduce occurrence of smoke alarms while cooking. We sometimes camp without overnight shore power, so the fans will also be convenient for providing overnight ventilation without rigging temporary fans and being concerned with rain coming into the vent. The LED lights appear to be just the right amount of lighting. Also, the low profile for the control switch is a good arrangement because the ceiling height is only about 6 ft.

by:

I used this fan to replace vent fan in the bathroom, rapidly vents odors and steam from the shower. Good fan highly recommended.

by:

Installation was straight forward, no problems! I’ve had it for a full year and it works great. It moves more air than the original fan and the LED light provides plenty of light. It is great being able to run the fan to vent the RV even when it’s raining. The only thing prevent 5 star rating is that closing the vent in cold weather doesn’t create an air tight seal and leaks cold air.

by:

Staff was very helpful in helping me find the correct fan for my camper, 10/10.

by:

The RV Roof Vent looks great. I didn't install it, the person that did didn"t take long at all. He the one that told me about the fan. this the second one.

by:

This is a great replacement fan for the bathroom in our camper.
The extra bonus was the LED light built in!

by:

Huge upgrade from the stock fan, vents a good amount of air. The light was a nice bonus that I didn't think I would use but now I almost exclusively use the light on the fan over the stock light in our bathroom.

by:

I purchased from etrailer a Maxxair Mini RV Vent and Fan and after owning it for a year I’m still pleased with the reliability and quality of the system. The installation was so easy that even I could do it! My wife and I camp with the kids, their friends and other family members, so the fan gets a work out to say the least! I have already recommended etrailer and Maxxair to other campers so if you are asking me then go for it! I have experience with etrailer and their customer service is on point.

This fan is still working great and the surrounding light kit is futuristic. My old fan kit was dated so my wife was pleased to see the update! Thank you for the opportunity to offer my feedback and if it ever wears out I will surely be back!!!

by:

this is the second one i have purchased. they are a bit expensive, so i didnt buy two. i was so happy with the first one i bought a second for my trailer where i store my scuba gear. The fan pulls the moisture out and the LED lights the interior. these units pull very little current. i have a garden tractor battery in my trailer with a solar charger, and this works great.

still working as advertised. PS I am running the fan 24x7 to remove moisture from my trailer.

by:

No leaks, holding up well to UV - but really doesn't have the airflow I wish it did. I have it on a timer (solar charged batteries) and it runs 30 minutes off 60. In a small 6x12 cargo trailer with decent inflow vents on the sides, it is better than nothing especially for storage (Texas heat and cold). But if even if I turn on full time when I am working in the trailer, it does very little to be more comfortable. So works OK for small space keeping dampness/moldiness/sweat in check, but not enough to "change out the air". I do love though that it is set-n-forget. Never worry about leaving the vent top up, driving at speed, or any weather issues, even bugs/vermin. With it being on a timer, it just does its thing perfectly. I only wish it did more volume.

by:

We rebuilt our pop-up camper top and decided to replace it with a fan instead of trying to salvage the existing unit. This product by etrailer was beyond a doubt the most cost efficient and quality product I found in all my searches. The product was easy to install and was even an upgrade from our original hand crank set up with a light as a bonus. It is adaptive to the various trailer thicknesses so it should be a fairly universal fit. I would recommend to anyone replacing their units.

by:

Very happy with this item. Installation was straight forward

by:

i installed two of these in my training trailer here at the Scuba School. I run the fan 24x7 when its 100 degrees out to protect my product from the heat. I also installed a very inexpensive battery charger to keep the fans going at maximum speed. I did go through some smaller units that were inadequate

by:

The max air functions nicely, but the interior plastic holding the actual fan is so thin it sags between the screws, leaving a poor appearance. I had previously purchased a MaxxAir fan with remote control and that interior piece did not sag. Also, the sealant I got with that order self-leveled very nicely.

by:

Good value for the money, fan easy to install, shipping was very fast.

by:

I used this vet to replace the crank up vent in my bathroom. I was a bit disappointed that it doesn't let in as much natural light and the vent I was replacing, but with the build in LEDs the lack of light was manageable. However the plastic cover isn't quite strong enough to hold up to Texas hail storms and I found broken louvers and a large crack in the vent cover after one bad storm. It isn't leaking (yet) but when it does and I have to replace it I'm not sure I'll install another one of these.

by:

Good day, thx for the contact. Yes, I bought 2 Maxxair mini vents for my RV. The first one is working fine, the second one, the light quit working 4 month's later, sigh.

by:

The MAXXAIR mini fan has been an excellent addition to our trailer. This product works as advertised and we are more than pleased. Frank

by:

Arrived quickly, in great condition. And, etrailer honored their Lowest Price Pledge for me!

by:

Great concept but poor execution. There is no way to seal the fan when not in use. There are a ton of holes around the fan motor and vent lever that will let a lot of air through even when the vent is closed.
