Can TorkLift GlowStep Stow N' Go Steps TLA7835 Be Mounted to a Truck Camper Bumper?

Question:

Looking at the sto and go steps with landing gear. can I store these on top of my bumper that is on the back of my truck camper? Do you have a bracket that lets me attach the steps to the bumper and when I ready to leave I can compress the steps and flip them up on the truck camper bumper? I have a NorthStar 10X on a ford f350 superduty.

Hey Paul, thanks for reaching out. Yes, the TorkLift GlowStep Stow N' Go with Landing Gear # TLA7835 is designed to stay mounted on the outside of your truck camper when you're traveling. The kit includes a bolt-on mounting bracket that permanently attaches to the camper, and the steps collapse, fold up, and lock into that bracket for storage. There's no need to remove them or store them inside.

TorkLift doesn't offer a separate bracket to mount the steps on top of a rear bumper. The included bracket is the storage bracket, and it's intended to mount directly to the back of the camper below the entry door. If your Northstar 10X has enough clearance behind the bumper, that's the cleanest and most secure way to mount them. If you're looking to keep the bumper completely clear, it would take a custom-fabricated bracket. TorkLift doesn't make an accessory that flips the steps up onto the bumper.
