Today on our camper we'll be taking a look at and installing the Lippert Components RV entry screen door latch, right hand, Part Number LC201471. Also available is a left hand, Part Number LC201472. Secure your screen door with the Lippert latch. It's made out of a durable plastic construction with an easy to use spring loaded lever. Now we'll be going over some of the features and go ahead and show you how to get it installed. We're just simply going to replacing our old latch.
It was broken, so I had already removed it because it was in pieces. We just need to make sure the flat end of the latch here sits nice and flat and flush up against the screen door. We're going to be using the same holes that our old latch was on. You will need to provide your own hardware. As you can see with it being aligned up just as the old one was perfectly, it's going to strike with the striker and be perfect.
Let's go ahead and get that mounted up. The hardware I'm using here today is just a bigger self tapper. That way it goes into the same hole. Perfect. In addition to the screen door latch, you might want to consider picking up the Lippert Components RV outside striker for the screen door and that's going to be Part Number LC198252. That's going to do it for our Lippert Components RV entry screen door latch, right hand, Part Number LC201471..
I wanted to replace the old latch with the extra same latch and this one filled the bill. The mounting holes were slightly off from the old, requiring drilling new holes. While a minor irritation, the latch functions perfectly once mounted.
Your prices are too high for this product. If there was a lower cost option I would have chosen it.

It came with no screws or tool for square head screws.
I was shipped the wrong item. called today and spoke with customer service. she said will be shipped ASAP from Utah. I told her overnight. she said will ship UPS Next Day Air. I don't expect to pay shipping.Please follow up

Correct handle for the application with the alignment pegs on the back side
This is not an exact fit. It had three little knobs on the back side that prevented it from resting flush. The screw slot did not have any horizontal room to move so i ended up having to drill two new holes. All in all it only took about 15 mins and once done it was a good fit.

It works as a door handle. the only thing negative is that the protrusion part seems to be smaller as i had to put some washers behind the block portion in order to make the protrusion latch behind the block.
Be careful doors are either left hand or right hand and so are the handles. I got the wrong one but they exchanged it for the right one - no hassles.
The replacement handle was easy to install and works perfectly!
My original order was lost in the mail. E-trailer sent a replacement right away.
After grinding off the small tabs on the back, the Lippert screen door latch fit perfectly. Great replacement part!
Haven’t installed it yet, but it looks like just what I needed and it was delivered quickly.
This is a replacement handle because the one that came on the trailer fell apart. The screen door handle was shipped immediately. I am pleased with the service from trailer.

Great!
Went on your site picked my camper for screen door latch and it gave me this Lipert part which was to long and mounting surface wasn’t correct. Everything I ordered in the past was exactly superior. Hopefully they can find proper one .

This was a perfect replacement for a broken door latch on our screen door. Just determine if you need a right or left handle and order it. It is just like the original.

The door latch is working just great with no problems. Perfect replacement.
The latch did not fit like the original. I had to modify the part, drill new holes in door and fit is still not good. As far as etrailer service, that was exceptional. I got a call to verify that it was to be directed to other than my home address, and the delivery was fast.
The product received was very similar to the one on my camper. The tabs and holes were off by almost 1/8", making it impossible to use as is. I was able to disassemble my old body and the new one and use the new handle with the old body. Since both plastic parts did not break, this was okay. Part of the RV experience is there is always something to fix!!! I'm sure Lippert changed dimensions in the last 5 years.
